Worth the cost
This design has yet to disappoint when opening a bottle of wine. While younger wines can be opened without incident by any corkscrew, this one makes it possible to remove corks as a single piece from double digit year old wines. While expensive, I have always relied on it to do a great job.

Indispensable Wine Bottle Opener
This is the ultimate tool for wine cork removal. Beautifully engineered and elegant. It is indispensable and virtually guaranteed to work when dealing with older bottles that may have brittle corks. Take a bit of practice to learn how to use it but, once you've mastered the technique, it is actually easy.

A godsend for old flimsy corks in 20+ yr bottles.
Requires a little bit of practice, but it’s a godsend and works as promised. I have used it to successfully remove corks that are 20+ years old and falling apart.

Parfait!!!
Ingenious!!! I’ve pulled some old corks (‘86 Pichon LaLande) , and some that looked fragile. Fantastic results! Worth every penny in results and lack of frustration. You still need some skill and patience to slide old corks out intact… but it’s at least doable!

Amazing - both in utility and in price
This thing is amazing. It is amazing how well it works with old fragile corks. And it is amazing how expensive it is. It is basically a cork screw and an Ah So cork remover. Each of these independently costs about $10 (if that). Put them together into this devices and it is almost ten times that. ($145 when I bought it.) So, I resisted buying this because the expense seemed ridiculous. But after too many crumbled corks, I went for it. The thing actually works! If you are opening fine old bottles of wine, this may be just what you need -- at the price of one of those fine old bottles of wine! Cheers!
