UPDATE: had the jacket for about 2 months. This is a good jacket. Roomy, warm and functional. The only adjustment I am considering: the chest pocket zippers when zipped open, the traveler bottoms out at the bottom of the pocket. I worry that something might easily slip out. I plan to put a stitch in the zipper track an inch above the fully open/down position to create a bit of depth to the pocket. Happy with my purchase. /// Just received it. Packaged well. Seams look solid. Shell and lining look solid. Construction seems solid. Fit is good. Zipper is secure. Pockets appear solid. Waist and hood draw strings are functional and cuff gathers work as they should. Got mine in olive drab. Went by the sizing guide and got an XL. Fits properly. I will use this at outdoor all-weather tactical shooting events where weather is random. I am in the American north east. Saw some questions about why the double zipper travelers, and why the front pockets are so high and in front, and why is the hood oversized. This jacket is meant to be tactical. If you are wearing anything around your waist - like an equipment duty belt - hand pockets at waist level will make the waist of the jacket - over the duty belt - be way oversized. Also, the double zipper travelers help with accessing your duty belt from the bottom of the zipper rather than unzipping from the top and letting the weather in. Also, the hood is oversized to fit headgear like ear protection and a hat, etc. This jacket seems to fit my needs. I will update this review after wearing it at an event. So far, I am happy with the fit, function and price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a garment to meet similar needs.

Very nice jacket, lightweight, lots of pockets and warm. It's even rain resistent.

PROS: - Nice shell jacket, soft inside and outside is very nice as well, sheds water and as stays clean.. - Great to use combined with fleece mid layer and even thermal base layer, keeps you very warm, wind resistant yet breathable. Beats wearing a huge, bulky parka unless it's below 15 degrees. - Has lots of nice pockets that are mostly well placed, pit zips are excellent and we're on my 300$ "name brand" jacket. These are the same thing and are great if you are sweating in cold weather. - Fits perfect, I was surprised at how well it fits, couldn't really fit any better. - Zippers are good quality, so far, no snags or issues. - Hood is great, does not cover face as some cheaper jackets can. Also has 3 separate velcro lines so you can put it away without it looking weird. CONS: - The large front pockets should be lower and slanted like most jackets have, I find myself feeling for pockets there to hold stuff I always use or to warm hands. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. - Those big front pockets again, when putting things in them, it makes large outline/bulges right under your chest that looks and feels odd. - Would be nice to have extra internal pockets that can keep contents warmer or dry, maps, secret pocket for cash and valuables. Overall, this shell jacket is great and well made. It fits perfect and I no longer use my heavy, bulky parka. If you take time to learn about materials and how you can layer them properly, you can put together a base, mid and outer layer system that keeps wind from getting in, keeps you dry, wicks sweat away, keeps you warm in freezing temperatures yet have no bulk or restricted movement. I do a lot of long distance hiking, Photography and drone stuff so being able to move and access things is important. Definitely worth the money, would for sure recommend this to anyone. I love this jacket. Stitching is quality material is nice, color is perfect, and it fits like it was tailored. I'd you want to layer, buy a size or two up. Works well for what i need

Quality jacket for everyday-wear, airsoft, and COD Ghost cosplay. Zipper is a bit complicated at first, but you get the idea. Size is slightly bigger than expected, but works.

Not what I was expecting. Although the quality seems to be ok, the sizing was bad. I wear a XXL in most all shirts and jackets. This is the largest size they have, and I had to struggle to get my arms in the sleeves. It was tight across my chest to zip it up. Also. it really has no hand pockets. There are two pockets, but almost at chest level, which would feel very uncomfortable to keep hands warm in that position. I am returning after simply trying it on.

Coat is as advertised, seems like good quality and does block the wind with what little I've worn it so far. This will be great for layering. I'm 6'2, 210# and the XL fits perfectly.

I was looking for a lightweight jacket that could block wind, offer warmth, and be water-resistant—and this one checked all the boxes. It even has a hood that folds up and stores neatly into the collar, which is a great bonus. One of the first things I noticed was how many pockets it has—more than I knew what to do with! The fleece lining is very lightweight, so I was skeptical at first, but I ended up wearing it in temperatures much colder than expected (down to the single digits) and was pleasantly surprised by how warm it kept me. I was comfortable enough to walk a quarter mile from the hotel to grab food and back without issue. It also folds up compactly, making it perfect for travel. There’s even a pass-through back pocket, which could be handy for larger items or documents. For the price, this jacket is an excellent value. I wasn’t looking to spend a fortune, and this delivered everything I needed without breaking the bank.

Very nice jecket

This is the SECOND jacket I've received which DID NOT include the American flag patch, for the sleeve. Since the patch was a VERY important part of the purchase, the first jacket was returned for credit, in the HOPE that the second jacket would include the patch. It didn't. I'll keep the jacket but am very disappointed that the patch was missing - TWICE !!!!! So if receiving the patch, too, is important to you ? I don't recommend ordering this jacket for that reason !!

Everything was perfect except zip.. item is well build with waterproof material, but water will enter through your front zipper & you will be wasted in rain.

I purchase my outdoor jacket to protect me from the cold/rain while I do my long distance power walking, and so far I am happy as the jacket is doing it job.
