Easier to accurately determine total chlorine
I use these along with the Taylor R-0014 pH indicator solution in my Taylor K-1000 test kit. I used test strips for many years for our hot tubs, but they always seemed iffy, especially when borderline. This more accurately reflect the total chlorine and is easy to read in the sample cell that came with the kit.

An “F” on this test!
This bottle is either filled with water, is very old, or has been left in the sun. After putting 5 gallons of liquid chlorine in the pool there was no indication that any chlorine was present just hours later. I put a few drops of reagent directly into a sample of straight pool chlorine and there was still no indication of chlorine.
