Great product! The best, easiest to use contact lens cleaner that I've ever used. I like the 2 minute and 5 minute options...the shorter cycle for regular days and the 5 minute for grungy air days or working around alot of dust/dirt. The charge lasts at least a week for nightly use (it's never run out of charge on me, but I just routinely plug it in on my weekend). The only drawback I've seen is it isn't leakproof. You can't transport it with liquid in it. It us easy to clean. Glad I bought this product and I'm very happy with it.

EDIT: I wanted to add to this review. I've used this for a few months now and could not be happier. My contacts are cleaner and stay fresh feeling longer. I have recommended this to a friend who also wears scleral lenses and she has told me she's happy with hers as well. So not only WOULD I recommend this to family and friends, I HAVE recommended it! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wasn't sure if this was gimmick but asked my optometrist his opinion and he advised that it wouldn't hurt to try. With the very first use I was amazed and very pleased. I now follow a routine of doing a two minute cleaning six nights a week with standard nightly solution and a five minute cleaning once a week in peroxide to disinfect my scleral lenses. So far I've found that my lenses are more comfortable and I can wear them longer. I thought I had a good and careful cleaning routine in effect but the addition of this cleaner into the mix has really improved my scleral lens experience.

Good for travel, especially if you are traveling light. It means you don't have to carry peroxide in your suitcase. I got it for a very long trip where I was unsure I would have enough of my usual cleaner or if I would be able to get to it. It does the job just fine. I'm not sure why they ask for suction and comfort ratings, this has neither quality.

I don’t write many reviews, but this product was a game changer. From the very first use, I could see much better through my contacts and they were much more comfortable to wear as well!! So quick & easy to use. I’m so glad I purchased this unit! The only small downside for me was that the cord is short and my outlet is about 18” up the side of my mirror, so I charge it elsewhere and just run it off the battery. If your gas perm contacts are blurry or uncomfortable even after frequent liquid cleaning, give this sonic cleaner a try!1

Design makes it difficult to get your contact out of the cleaning chamber, and questionable whether it could be properly cleaned between uses. It was an ultrasonic cleaner, but poorly designed and was returned.

Before I purchased this, I read all the reviews and several mentioned that this unit will rust. I’ve had this unit for 9 months now and I use it at least twice a week….sometimes every night. After use, I rinse it with fresh water and dry the wells thoroughly before putting it away. Not a speck of rust yet! So if fear of rust is what is holding you back from getting this sweet little lens cleaner, don’t worry! It holds a charge for several weeks, I’ve only charged it twice in 9 months. Plus, my lenses feel great after ultrasonic cleaning. It’s small enough to slip into your overnight bag for on-the-go lens cleaning, making it my favorite lens cleaner of all time, and I’ve been wearing contacts for 43 years!

To be fair, it did clean well but the unit has a fatal design flaw and at least the one I got did not keep a charge as advertised. The design flaw is there is no cap on the lens container. Moving the cleaner with the lens inside is risky. You need to keep it level and move slowly or the solution and your lenses spill out. Originally I got a week on a charge but this quickly dropped off to a day, I needed to charge it daily while I was waiting for my replacement unit. I bought one that has a removable lens case.

I am new to contact lens wearing and purchased this to keep my monthly contacts a little cleaner. At first, for a couple of weeks, I felt like I wasted my money on a dumb gadget. I heard it turn on but noticed nothing. Last night, I had something irritating my right eye and could not figure it out. I removed my contacts and decided to dig this thing out of the junk drawer. I did a 5 Minute clean and could see the smallest fiber/hair floating on top. They’ve felt better today too. I guess this thing does work. That’s coming from a huge skeptic who dug it out of the junk drawer.

Alles gut

I've been using these for several years for my RGP contact lenses and for the money this is amazing, it works as well as some that I've paid 5 times this price for. Seems to hold charge well enough and does the job of cleaning and storing overnight. Highly recommended for RGP lenses.

Don’t buy

Lässt sich leider nach zwei Jahren nicht mehr aufladen. Hat bis dahin aber einwandfrei funktioniert.

Heute habe ich das Produkt erhalten. Leider ist die Ladebuchse nicht auf der gleichen Höhe, wie die dafür vorgesehene Aussparung im Gehäuse. Somit lässt sich das Ladekabel nicht einstecken und das Gerät ist unbrauchbar. Habe es zurückgeschickt.
