I’m really impressed with the INNERSENSE I Create Hold Styling Gel. I’ve been looking for a clean, non-toxic product that actually holds my curls in place, and this one delivers. The hold is strong but never crunchy, and it defines my hair beautifully without leaving it stiff or sticky.What I love most is how clean and lightweight it feels no buildup, no flaking, and it rinses out easily. It’s also cruelty-free, non-toxic, and full of nourishing ingredients, which makes me feel good about using it regularly. A little goes a long way, and it works well whether I’m air-drying or diffusing. Definitely a staple in my curly hair routine!

I love this product - it really accentuates my curls and keeps my hair in place all day!! However I prefer buying directly from the Innersense site. It’s the same price as Amazon, and they don’t charge for shipping for the $64 refill pouch which lasts me a few months. Plus, and most importantly for me, if you buy on the site, a portion of the sale goes to a charity you choose.

I have super curly hair and this is the “glue” that holds my curls in shape for days!!I apply my other hair products first then put a peansize of this in the palm of my hand, cover it with wash, mix, and apply to my hair with “prayer hands”.Hands down one of my top 3 curly hair products ever!

Works well, I liked it but didn’t love it. Not sure it’s worth the full size price

My 4C curls LOVE this product! Very lightweight and moisturizing I use it on top of a mousse and/or a curl gel… 10/10

I LOVE this gel. After trying a number of other gels including Deva, Curlsmith, Not Your Mothers, etc, this is the best gel for my 3B curls. It has good hold for multiple days in between washes and leaves my hair defined and moisturized.

I have tried many hair gels for my curly hair and this is by far my favorite. I hesitate at first to buy it since it is more expensive than a lot of the other options, but after trying those, I wish I would have tried this one first because it is by far my favorite. My hair still feels so soft with it in. It gives me a great cast after diffusing and scrunches out so nicely. 10/10 recommend.

What I liked about the products I’ve used from Innersense is the fragrances have been nice. I liked that I Create Hold actually kept my hair from looking frizzy for the most part. There’s no super crispy, feel, or greasy feel. There’s not a lot of shine, though. I’ve been using the hydrating hair bath, and conditioner, along with I Create Volume and I Create Hold. From the get-go I’ve had several problems though. I noticed right away that sometimes my scalp would itch. My hair strands would stick together after using the shampoo and conditioner, and the I Create Volume seemed to add to that. I definitely had to be careful to not run my fingers through my hair at all after it was dry. When I wake up in the morning, I have horrible tangles towards the ends of my hair, something I didn’t have a problem with before, and I noticed that my hair started falling out quite a bit. When I ordered this new bottle of I Create Hold the product seemed much thicker than the original bottle I had purchased, and immediately my scalp started burning and itching whenever I used it. I contacted Carbon Beauty about the problem and no one ever got back to me. I’m so disappointed because I had high hopes that I’d finally found products that didn’t make my hair look either greasy or crispy after styling. I cannot use the products in the shower, because where ever the residue touches the rest of my skin even though I rinse off thoroughly, I’ve developed a random rashes all over my body. I would say if you have sensitive skin, see if you can get samples or buy small bottles of the products before investing. My sister has hair that’s much less curly than mine so she uses different products in the Innersense line and has no problems. She loves it and it makes her hair look beautiful. Unfortunately for me, between the tangles, the hair loss, and the burning itching scalp I am going to have to continue to look elsewhere for compatible hair care products.
