Easy to use and package medication efficiently
Being a hospital and LTC pharmacist I have been around a plethora of packaging. This system is fantastic for a few person household with a few medications. Totally worth the price. I have used million dollar robots to do the same thing. Multiple other packaging methods as well. For home use this is stellar and affordable. I love that the packaging is small for travel and can be put in a pocket or bag so to not forget. Have a problem opening the bags. A little water on fingertips and rubbing back and forth on the top works fantastic. Use a scissor if you feel heavy handed at splitting the packages. Definitely a great price for the service. Sorry the video is off a bit.

Works very well, but pouches are difficult to open.
Works well, but the little bags are very hard to open once you've torn them free from the spool. In fact tearing them free from the spool can be challenging without destroying them if you don't pay close attention. Also note that these do not create waterproof or even airtight pouches. They are perforated and you end up with a little pouch that's very easy to open, which I think is a very good thing depending on who is the end user of the little packets that you create with this thing. It's a decent system at a very good price. Just takes a little work to open each bag and make your little pill pouches, but worth it to prep in advance.

Works great!
I wanted something to help organize my moms pills. This is really easy to operate and seals the bags nicely. The tear strips on the side rip really easily but can be problematic when taking the bags off the role. I kept ripping the tear strip which of course ruined the bag. Other than that, no issues.

Good company stands behind good product
These are a great way to keep things organized, especially during ground travel. My dog is my most frequent traveling companion, and he takes almost as many pills as I do. I use a labelmaker to avoid the hand cramps and can get our various daily configurations done and in their own freezer bags, plus some packs of the "as needed" type. At home, the "as needed" packs are great for stashing in my purse or having handy bedside. The company really stands behind their products, and were eager to help when I called with a question. I wasn't even certain I had a serious problem, but they shipped a replacement for the part immediately. Any problems with the bags in other reviews seems to have been fixed. You do have to be careful not to tear the perforated strip when separating the bags from the roll, but if you look where you are holding there is no problem. You can even cut a corner off if you need to add another pill and then reseal the corner. The sorter is pretty clever. It could be a little tricky for shaky hands to fill but once the lid is on it feels pretty secure. The sealer works fast. I took the batteries out to store it between uses and they lasted twice as long as I expected. Overall I am very glad I purchased the system and find it makes daily life a bit easier, especially on a trip. I have not tried it on TSA--I like having the official labeled bottle to back me up. But I might bring it along just to sort pills after arrival!

Sealer doesnt get hot enough to seal and the bags don't open!
I was so excited to get this thing but I'm so very disappointed. The directions say the sealer will heat for 3 to 5 seconds. It doesn't quite stay on for a full 3 seconds and does not seal at all. I can see a faint line but it doesn't do a thing to actually seal. If you stick your finger on the pad it was just on, nothing is even warm. I have changed out batteries to see if branded batteries would work better but haven't had any luck. The bags are SO thin and absolutely impossible to open to even fill! The first few were ruined by the sticker used to hold the roll together. I would not recommend this. Hopefully mine was just a fluke. I am requesting a replacement. If the new one works the way it is supposed to I will definitely update my review!

Liked this very much but it stopped working after 4 months
I will come back and revise this if this starts working or gets a warranty replacement. The system is wonderful, easy to keep on track. I print my labels at this point because I'm too lazy to write them. I loved my old pill cases but I travel and sometimes they would fall out of my bag (careless of me but that's a fact), hit the pavement and have pills across a four foot spread of driveway. If I'm at home I have to worry that if I don't find them all a pet will eat one (the baby's 30 now so I don't worry so much about her). So I tried this. A little more work but very convenient for the week or trip that follows. I like that I can fill two weeks, fifteen days or whatever I need. BUT this morning I went to fill my week's pills and the little red light on the sealer flashed and went out. Seemed like an easy warning to replace my batteries but that didn't fix it. Also there are markings in the battery case but they are VERY hard to see. You always put the flat end of the battery to the spring in case that's a question for you. I tried three sets of batteries. One I realized was expired but the other two sets were good and I didn't get a flicker of a light. So, three stars because I really liked it but only three because it's not working today.

Complete waste of money, the other reviews are right. If you want your meds bagged - I'd just ask your pharmacy. This was pricey, the bags are terrible quality and rip while you're trying to open them, and the machine I received does NOT turn on, so does not even work. Completely useless purchase. The bags are HORRIBLE - this can not be overstated.

I was thinking that it vacuum sealed the bags but it only seals. It does that well and seem like a good product if this is what you are looking for.
