nicks/dull blade
Received the scraper with nicks and a dull edge. I didn't get this for pelts but tried to use it for pumpkin carving to remove the skin layer easily. Didn't work as I imagined. The handle was pretty comfortable to hold and didn't have any issues with the blade detaching from the handle.

Best tool for fleshing
This tool speaks for its self.CHEAP and made unbelievable well. This scraper is a must have for anyone who’s fleshing a hide. I’d give it more stars if I could!

Works As Intended
Sturdy and works as I expected. Can easily pull or push while scraping my deer hide.

Not sharp enough
It may be user error, but I've tried to utilize this tool to scrape meat off of an axis and a whitetail hide and had no success with either attempt. In both instances, I went back and just used a sharp skinning knife to prep the hides for tanning. I think if the edge was actually sharp like a knife, it would help, but right out of the box, it didn't do anything for me.

I'm new to removing the flesh and tried to use this on a whole beaver pelt. Took a while. Works great for tight areas and for cleaning up.
