Any concern of it breaking and allow the beads to fall out?

A baby couldn’t break it. Our dog got ahold of it and chewed it, the bead area had teeth marks but didn’t break.

Is this product BPA free?

The alternatives to BPA, specifically plastic hardeners, unfortunately, have been shown to be more estrogenic.

Appropriate for what age?

As soon as they start reaching out to grasp. I think I gave it to my grandson at 3 months. It is easy for them to hold because of the holes. He is 10 months now and loves the little car with the holes like this has.

How do you clean this? I sanitized it with soapy water and water got inside the rattle :(
