First, we had massive issues trying to set it up with use with our Wii. Now, after only ~5 hours of use over several months, it won't even turn on. Not worth the price, buy an actual Nintendo product for a few more dollars and it will be well worth it, this product was not worth the gamble. Review: Everything is Awesome! - Nice and colorful. My kids are singing that "annoying" song "Everything is Awesome" from the Lego movie when they play with the Wii remote.

Disappointment after Disappointment
Sweet Jesus, do not purchase this product. First, we had massive issues trying to set it up with use with our Wii. Now, after only ~5 hours of use over several months, it won't even turn on. Not worth the price, buy an actual Nintendo product for a few more dollars and it will be well worth it, this product was not worth the gamble.

Everything is Awesome!
Nice and colorful. My kids are singing that "annoying" song "Everything is Awesome" from the Lego movie when they play with the Wii remote.

Disappointed.
Doesn't work very well. Accelerometer Is not working. Other buttons on the remote work when they want to. Not cool because I got this for my son's birthday and he's bummed that it doesn't work.

Creative, but lacks MotionPlus
Played around with this a little. Initial thoughts: -- being able to build extrusions onto the Wiimote isn't going to work for gameplay, but the act of building is better for your kid's brain than playing the Wii anyway. If your kid loves Legos, this is sure to inspire time spent building and rebuilding stands to hold it and "inventive" new grips for playing, etc. -- the buttons are slightly different from the standard Wiimote, but no different than the popular Nyko or off-brand motes -- don't see why this would cause any issues. They had to crush in the sides of the three little buttons (so it became two and one underneath) in order to fit a border for the Legos to attach. -- the device does not have MotionPlus built in. This was frustrating to discover...Nintendo doesn't even make the non-MotionPlus version anymore, why would Lego make an inferior product choice like that when the rest of it is a great idea? Saving a couple bucks cost them a few sales with us, although we still bought one. If MotionPlus isn't important to you, then this should be a fun toy.

It's awesome in theory
I probably wouldn't purchase this again. It's awesome in theory, but hard to keep the pieces together for a young child.

False descriptions
I purchased a remote & no where on the description did it state the remote was used & mind you, the pictures show brand new item with all pieces. I have attached a photo of the product recieved. Not happy

LEGO Maniac
This is just a simple Wii remote with LEGO's that attach to it. Having said that my kids love LEGO's and they think this remote is the coolest thing ever! Quality is on par with the Nintendo branded Wiimote.

Lego Wii controller
The Lego Wii controller was a whole lot of fun when it first arrived. The Lego accessories with it had my sons building elaborate contraptions to display it on. However, it quickly fell into disuse when they realized the buttons didn't have "standard" dimensions. I am very sad, since it is so adorable and displays so nicely, but if the kids won't use it, it probably wasn't a useful purchase.
