These balls may work for kids practicing their shots. As adults, they are not that durable and dent too easily. this does not happen with my other balls.

As I write, I can hear Lord "Boo Boo" Byron, bouncing these orange beauties off the walls.He prefers the dimpled balls for better tooth grip for retrieval back to me to throw again.Such a "good boy."

I bought these for my cats, they usually like me to give them an ice cube to play with when I'm in the kitchen, now I give them one of these cute practice balls and it keeps them busy and I don't have a melted ice cube to clean up or worse step in. LOL

The solid balls are hollow…

I have been practicing with some solid foam balls, but had lost a few balls. I wanted to replace them with some balls that were a brighter color so I could locate them easier. When I first got the balls, I noticed they were very light and when bounced, they sounded like they were hollow. I cut one open just to be sure, and they are NOT solid as indicated on the packaging.I decided to try to hit a few to see how they would work. As stated, they are restricted flight; however, I feel the flight was not true. They wanted to fly very high and with a slight breeze, they would take off with the wind.I gave these golf balls two stars for "false" advertising. The reason I did not give a lower rating is they are orange, round, and the same size as a golf ball. As mentioned by someone else, they can be used as some sort of decoration. I would have sent the balls back, but for the price I paid, it was not worth the effort. In the mean time they are good play toys for my dog.If you are looking for a good restricted flight ball, try the solid foam balls.

Kinda like dimpled ping pong balls. I expected a bit more weight but they are for kitty toys so they are fine. The cat they are for loves to bat real ones and let me tell you...they slam hard against walls, cabinets and other cats in the way of them when they fly. So we were looking for a safer alternative. Kits are not sure yet. A solid rubber version with more weight does seem to be favored so far. Think these will work out though and at least another cat is interested who plays with smaller balls and bigger ones a lot too.

The option I chose was for the "solid" balls. Even though the packaging says "Solid" they are hollow on the inside. Stared the return process but not worth the gas to drop them off to send them back. Squeezing them with my hand can dent them...

Bought these for our ferrets to play with.They are large enough our ferrets cannot get their mouths around them, which is extremely important.They sit perfectly in that realm between "Hard enough they cant pierce it with their teeth" but "Not so hard they hurt themselves on it"Most importantly, their bright red/orange color makes them much easier to chase and follow for a ferret, it gets their attention instantly and they are quite motivated to chase and play.Our one ferret will chase these things around endlessly.The only toys they love more than these things are paper bags and their plastic tubes.Every ferret owner should buy a pack of these things.

this is a hard, hollow, plastic piece of junk that gives zero benefit for practicing.

These practice balls perform well - bright and easy to find, have a real look and feel, and hit well. For the prices, it's a great purchase.

Great for practicing your swing and not destroying windows around your home. Only complaint is that I wish they had a tad bit more weight.
