One has to churn your imagination to extract the spiritual lessons but so rich in its details that matches with many concepts coming out of the bible! Mind blowing!!

Lewis rocks!! What a ride!

Nothing bad to say about the author or the contents of the book. However, don't buy the hardbound edition of this book. For one thing, the price of the hardcover copy is not worth the quality of the book you get. I have bought much bigger books with same quality of page and text sold for less than half the price. Moreover, the copy I received was defective and damaged, the page edges were uneven and cover of the book was uneven. Also, the last page, which had writing on both sides, was stuck to the back of the book. Although there is a return option mentioned, when I tried to do so, the only option was to replace. And even the replace order was cancelled and I have still not recieved the refund for this. Very untrustworthy seller.

Fantastic read! Like I was reading a Haruki Murakami.

I love this book. So thought provoking. CS Lewis has such an incredible imagination. His story highlights how seemingly loving behaviours are not and how we hang onto things in this world that have no value with the eyes of heaven. I highly recommend the book.

On a commandé 2 par hasard, mais on a finalement vraiment resté avec les deux puis le livre et très bonne, donc on a offert une pour nôtres amis. Livre d’une bonne taille et poids, facile a transporter et lire.

Eu já tinha escutado podcasts sobre essa obra e comecei a lê-la com a expectativa lá em cima, e realmente eu não me decepcionei nem um pouco! É incrível como C. S. Lewis consegue fazer você refletir na sua própria vida, nos seus próprios vícios e hábitos que só te distraem do verdadeiro centro cuja nossa vida deve ser centrada – o Deus verdadeiro – e tudo isso em tão poucas páginas. Esse livro mudou minha vida, de verdade. Não tenho palavras pra descrever o quanto eu recomendo ele pra todos.

Dieses Buch sollten alle Christen gelesen haben. C S Lewis erklärt mit Hilfe einer Busreise von der Hölle in den Himmel die Probleme des Christentums so anschaulich, wie es ein Geistlicher in einer Predigt wohl kaum könnte.
