Hynes Eagle Backpack Waterproof Reflective Outdoor Rucksack Internal Frame Commuter Bike Backpack 32L

I am going on a month long backpacking trip to 3 countries in South America. Needless to say, it is very important that I have the right backpack for the journey. After looking at 15-20 back packs available I chose this one and am not disappointed. The package was properly packaged and was delivered in excellent shape. I was excited about the video they showed with all the different compartments. The backpack is even better in person. Due to having a bad back and neck, it is important that it be comfortable, secure and sturdy, all of which it is. There are cushions on the back and in the straps. The double straps across your chest and around your waist make it very snug and allows it to sit upright on your back without the need to adjust while your moving. I love that it's water proof and that it has so many hidden pockets, which will be great for hiding important belongings like your passport. Great choice if you're looking for a travel backpack!

I was a bit skeptical purchasing this backpack since there were only two reviews, but I liked the look of it and the reviews were positive so I gave it a shot. I am using this backpack for day-long hikes + snowboarding in the winter.The backpack is made of this waterproof material - probably couldn't keep your stuff dry if it the backpack falls in the water but it'll suffice for rain/snow. It has kept all my extra clothes/gear dry when snowboarding through some pretty deep powder. The back of it is stiff so its nice to have that extra support. There are two holes - one on the top of each shoulder strap to allow access to a camelbak. The pack itself is very roomy. I can fit my goggles, extra lenses, an extra shirt, socks, pants, gloves, and water/beverages in it while still being mobile enough to go through the back-country. Being able to access the main compartment from the sides without opening the top is actually pretty nice, and one of the opening flaps has another zippered pocket to allow easy and quick access to wallet/phone/keys.One downside though - the reflective mark on the bottom of the back of the backpack is pretty flimsy. I gently pulled on it and it just ripped right off. I had some super glue on hand and I glued it back and its as good as new. This didn't really impact the functionality for me though as I don't bike so the reflective strip wasn't super necessary, but it add an accent to the backpack. Zippers are a tiny bit stiff too. I am a bit scared to try opening them really hard, so I end up needing to really straighten everything out before opening them. This could just need some use for those to break in though.

I needed a pack for laptop, clothes, lunch etc for to and from work. It gets hot so it had to have some padding to keep off my back. Also needed weather resistance since there is an occasional rain storm. This packs works surprisingly well. I think it has not been rated enough yet.I am 6’3” so I wish it was just a little taller but I wish that of most packs. Would fit most people just fine.

Looks good and has a lot of pockets which are easily accessible, but it's not comfortable to wear for a long time or to carry a lot of weight. The construction of the zipper is not very good, and tore reducing the waterproofing for the top compartment.

The design is pretty good and initially I liked it but the zipper areas and internally it is falling apart. I only use this backpack for work so I don't see a reason for this much wear already. Too bad, I would not recommend if you want something for the long run.

I like the size of the backpack and that it repels water. I have not tested it in the rain or anything like that, so I can't actually say much about how waterproof it is. I have to say that I am a little disappointed in the durability of the backpack though. I've had it for less than 6 months, and with fairly light use, the lining near the zipper is already falling apart; I'm not sure if this would effect how waterproof it is. The way the main zipper opens (that gives access to the main compartment) is also fairly awkward and not super easy to open and close unless the bag is mostly full of stuff. Wouldn't recommend for a daily commute unless you were lugging around a bunch of things that filled the bag.

This is a Very good backpack for the price. Seems very durable but time will ultimately tell, it has enough pockets & straps for traveling/support. It is Also very light. So far so good. Enjoy!

Great backpack for daily use. Good quality material. Many little pockets give enough place to keep your stuffs.

Used it for work. Got rained on and my stuff stayed dry.

IT's a gift, and looks just right.
