ZIIDII Dockable Switch Case for Nintendo, Nintendo Switch Games Protective Hard Carrying Clear Cover Case for Nintendo Switch Console Joy Con Controlle

To preface, I'm the kind of person who needs protection on all of my devices. I've waited to take a phone out of its box until I had a case and screen protector to put on it. And so when I got a Switch in June 2023, I decided to get this case to protect it. The case itself does as good of a job as an ideal dockable Nintendo Switch case can do. The Nintendo Switch dock is fairly narrow, and so it is challenging to design a case that can both protect the Switch and fit in the dock. Furthermore, the joycons are removable, meaning that the side rails of the Switch tablet as well as the side rails of the joycons cannot be protected. However, the case does a good job of protecting the Switch otherwise. Here are some minor quips I have with the product (which do not affect my overall rating due to the challenging nature of designing Switch protection but may be worth considering before you buy this): -This is a tight fit into the dock with both the case and a screen protector. Whereas you could simply "drop" the unprotected switch into the dock, this case will require you to push it down a bit (not a lot, but forgetting to do so may result in your Switch not getting charged/connected). There are protusions on the inside of the Switch dock at the sides which will slightly scuff both the front and back of your Switch (although they might have already done that even without the case and the screen protector), so I highly suggest getting a screen protector to complement the case. -The top corners of the Switch are carved inward to form two new corners each. Of these two new corners, the sidemost, lowermost corners are not well protected by the case (since the case is primarily protection for the back of the Switch). This doesn't mean much unless you drop your Switch such that it lands on this corner. -In general, expect some damage if you drop this Switch on a corner (although the case should definitely decrease it). There's no easy way to increase the corner protection of the Switch tablet without compromising its rail access. -The audio jack space was too small for my audio cable (the metal part of the cable could not enter the Switch fully because the hole in the case for the audio was too small for the surrounding plastic part around the cable metal). However, I've looked at other case brands and most don't seem to have a large audio hole either, so it's more likely that I have an older cable than that this is a product-specific issue. I had to buy new audio cables to get around this issue. -The Joycon cases are difficult to remove, and putting the cases on means that you cannot use the Joycons with the Joycon grip. But yet again, this is an issue that will come up for any durable Joycon case. -The Joycon front protectors make buttons hard to press (I tend to use only the back Joycon protectors). Besides that, the case does a solid job at protecting my Switch (or at at least bring peace of mind) while still retaining much of the Switch's utility. Besides the audio jack issue that may be more of a personal issue than a product oversight, all of the other features on the Switch tablet (buttons, cartridge slot, etc) are easily accessible. I'd recommend this case to those who are searching for a Switch case and don't have a problem with the above-mentioned issues (many of which are a result of Switch design rather than case design oversight).

The clear plastic cover fits great and feels like it protects the switch from small falls. I feel like it’s not strong enough plastic to protect it completely slipping from your hands to a hard ground standing. It’s a thin plastic it’s not thick. When putting my switch into the dock it fits but it’s a very tight fit. Because it’s a tight fit, the screen protector that I have on it chipped trying to put it in. Maybe if I didn’t have a screen protector it might fit fine without pushing the switch down. Over all it’s a good cover for my switch and I’m happy with it even though it has small issues I can over look for now.

It's a very sturdy case. The joycon case were also super easy to snap on as well. I didn't have any issues and it's just perfect. I love it so much. A downside I noticed was that it is a SLIGHT tight fit for the dock, but only if you push it all the way down. If you dock it to where it's just needed it's perfectly fine. Another downside is that if you tend to use your joy cons as a single controller (with what comes w/ the switch) then it won't work. You'll either have to take the case off each time you want to use it that way or own a pro controller. Another option is to own a PS4 or Xbox controller w/ adapter. But these aren't deal breakers for me but it may be for some of you.

I love how versatile this case is. It doesn't prevent me from removing the joycon controllers, using the kickstand, or docking the Switch. Docking is a tight fit but I am able to use the dock without forcing it or causing damage to the switch. The case itself is heavy duty and I am satisfied with it's ability to protect my Switch in case of an accidental fall. I am also still able to use a screen protector without interfering with the case. It was very simple to install as well. Overall I am very satisfied with it and I feel safer letting my children use the Switch when the case is on.

The case fits my switch perfectly and protects everything that it needs to. It fits in my switch cases perfectly as well. It does fit in the switch dock but it requires the slightest bit of a push down to fit. I did run into a problem where it wasn’t docking properly and needed to push down a little more but its easy to remove the cover around the screen and put it back. That’s the only downside I’ve seen with it other than that its a good case!

Have had the case on a month now and I’m pleasantly surprised how durable it is. It has been dropped twice now and no damage. The screen protector that came with it was easy and smooth to install. It only looks that way in the picture because my boy was messing with it. The controller buttons were easy to install as well and fit perfectly but again missing 1 in the picture because my boy was picking at it. In all I would say it’s product and it’s the closest I’ve found to kid proof!

This case came super fast and is as described. The handheld does fit into the console dock with it on but it’s a tight fit. The joycons will not fit into the grip with them on but they’re easy to remove. I feel much better about freely carrying the handheld or giving it to my younger cousins. The bottom of the screen part of the case does slide off easily if you rub it the wrong way. I wish it fit the screen more snug but this isn’t enough of an issue for me to deduct any stars.

It came missing a piece but a day or two after it got delivered they sent an email stating the issue they couldn't send me what I was missing but gave me a full refund no hassle what so ever so may not have gotten exactly what I ordered but the issue was fixed ASAP I was only missing the screen protector the rest of the case is perfect I would still buy again

I don't recommend this for your switch protection so tough and not easy to remove

If you are looking for a simple clear case this is the one! its the best "bang for your buck" and it also has a plastic grip built into the bottom on the back of the joy-cons loove it!! feels great in the hands

Nat good. Back protecting nat fit and all product feel cheep finishing .. nat stable and moving alot

This fits into our dock no issue.
