What's the difference between the lc6i and the lc7i?

It has the true bass. Which is for factory radios that the bass signal level drops lower as you increase the volume. This allows you to adjust it so the subwoofer out put keeps the bass signal level present and doesn't fade down like it would with the LC6.

does it work in a grand cherokee 2011?

It works with any vehicle. The primary objective when using this device is to keep your factory radio.

Should i buy this over two pac sni 15?

You would have more flex with the LCI. I used it to replace my rear deck speakers via sound stream 5 channel 1600 watt amp with Rockford Fosgate P1 10 in sub. I kept the factory head unit because it has all the features I need. The LCI is nice unit but think about mounting location

Could i use this on 18 foot sea ray boat would like to boost up my sound system

This is an LOC and only used for hooking up an aftermarket sound system to a factory radio.
