VAN ZYVERDENGrape Hyacinths Multi Colored Latifolum Set of 25 Bulbs

These arrived quickly. Bulbs were in great shape, nice and healthy and plump. Planted in mid-October. By the second week in April we had a beautiful display of vigorous deep purple flowers. Very pleased and will order from Van Zyverden again.

I was doing a large area. I mean 200 bulbs worth. Bought from a couple companies and these popped up first. They were also plumper and look good so far.

I bought multiple types of bulbs for holiday gifts. Some had already been chilled, so I could plant them immediately. Other purchases had specific statements that their bulbs needed to be put in refrigerator crisper drawer for 5-6 weeks. Since there was no instruction to chill these, I planted them and gave them as gifts. I kept a few and planted them. People who received my gifts let me know that their bulbs did not come up, and mine were the same. I now have the potted bulbs in the garage refrigerator and hope they will come up after bringing them back inside. I don’t know if the people who received my gifts have that option. It would have been very helpful to know that these bulbs had not been chilled & ready for forcing. Simple notes, like other companies I bought bulbs from, would have made me change the gifts I gave.

This is the second time I ordered these. While these won’t bloom until spring the first order bloomed beautifully last spring. Will probably buy more next fall.
