This is a known issue, so if it's still under warranty, contact Spin Master. They should send a replacement.

What species are the ponette and and cheetree supposed to be?

Hi there, the Hatchibabies are hybrid species! They are based off crosses between two animals; a pony and a bird for the Ponette, and a Cheetah with a different type of bird for the Cheetree. Hope this helps!
