Exactly what I needed. My original spout was leaking and difficult to use. The brushed nickel finish looks clean and modern and matched my other finishes, and it really upgraded the overall look of the bathroom. Installation was quick and easy, especially with the included hex wrench. It fits securely on the pipe with no leaks, and the pull-up diverter works smoothly every time. Water flow is strong and consistent, and it feels solid once installed. For the price, this is a fantastic value. Simple, reliable, and looks great—definitely recommend.

These seems like a decent spout, unfortunately I was not able to use it. I did not realize there are a couple of ways bath tub spouts go on - this one uses a small set screw, which makes installation super easy. I found out during the installation that mine screws on. There are universal spouts that can go either way, this is not one of those. Just know what you need...I'm sure this works fine, I took off one star because the metal is a little thin.

It seems that the quickest way to revamp your bathroom inexpensively is to replace your faucets and fixtures. While chrome and brush nickle is the goto standard, matre black has proven to be a great contender... and understandably so. This matte black tub spout doesn't show fingerprints. The finish is flawless. The pull diverter is effective and effortless. This spout is heavy. It's made of quality material and you easily detect it. There is no assembly required. The spout is installed by screwing into place on the spout arm. You can install this item within a matter of seconds provided you don't run into any major issues or complications. This product is modestly priced. It's inexpensive but pretty. Pair this spout with black knobs and a drain to give your bathroom a face-lift. Pleaser note: This is powdered matte black, not glossy black. If you are trying to match pieces to create a set ensure they are all matte black for cohesiveness.

I was surprised when I received this item and realized the spout is actually plastic instead of metal. You can't tell unless you look at the underside as the metal finish is very well down. Now that I have installed it, I am glad it was plastic. The metal ones always corrode on the inside when they get old and the shower diverter gets stiff to pull. I think this will work out better in the long run and it looks great. It went on easily and sealed well on the copper pipe stub out. I am very pleased with the quality and features. I am planning to use this same model in my other shower when it is ready to be replaced. It comes with a nice set if easy to follow directions and the right size Allen wrench to tighten the set screw.

Well, well....so this is not what I expected at all for the price. No where in the listings main description, pictures or any obvious areas of the listing, is it mentioned that this is a PLASTIC tub spout, granted, it didn't say it was metal either. After I recieved it, I went back and looked through the listing and finally saw "Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene" listed outside of the main product description. Of course I had to look that up to see what it was. Based on what I found, you should use caution when using certain cleaning supplies because it can melt/damage this spout material. Either way, as I previously noted, the listing doesn't falsely state what material this spout is made from, but there is also no effort to make it clear what material the spout is made of. Ultimately it is my fault for not confirming the material before ordering. Unfortunately I made an assumption based on other high quality, solid metal options being available for only a few extra dollars. Lesson learned. Besides the issue above, the spout does look nice, feel smooth and has a nice matte black color. It is pretty lightweight though, so I'm not sure how long to expect it to last or how long it will last. To install this spout, you need to currently have a copper pipe coming out of the wall for this to slip onto. Unless you want to do a work-around, and possible purchase a separate tub spout adapter. Just depends on your current rough-in situation, but this spout does not work with a threaded fitting as is. I would not recommend this plastic tub spout to anyone, unless they were looking specifically for a plastic one, because I searched for others made from plastic, and there aren't many available.

Product leaks and doesn’t seal correctly.

This lightweight and durable plastic bathtub faucet is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). It mounts to the front wall, is compatible with 1/2" copper pipe (4" reach), includes a hex key, and has a brushed nickel finish. I thought I could install it myself until I ran into trouble removing the old one, as I had no way to use the Allen key. So I had to hire someone more experienced to handle and adjust it. But I was told I could install it myself next time if necessary, although I hope it won't be needed and that this one will last a long time. It was installed well, and I'm happy with the result. I like the color and the material; it looks like real metal with a semi-gloss finish. I've attached a before and after photo. I liked that it included an Allen key, which can be used to remove any other parts that require it. The price is very reasonable.
