Step Drill Bits with Two Spiral Grooves, 5PCS

I loved these things. They work great. I'm in hvac and I'm constantly using these bits. They haven't lost the sharpness, and ice been using them for for a few months already. I'd buy again.

First time using step-down drill bits. I used it to widen two small holes on thin metal signage. I knew the width by counting the clicks as the bit went down. One click for each hole created the width and uniformity needed. The edges are smooth without burrs. Each odd-shaped bit fits perfectly into the metal case. The case is clearly marked on the outside with a large label. There is a questionable mistranslation on the label about needing water for low RPMs. Seems incorrect. These drill bits will be useful for DIY projects.

Worked once then it was so dull it would not cut through anything. Waste of money. Go with the better quality name brand product.

Have not used yet but seem to be nice they are sharp will give a 3 then when I use them I will repost!

This is my first set of step down bits and they apper sharp and durable and I like that they came in a case and are affordable...

One awesome little case covers so many drilling needs. 5 step bits with 1/4 shank that covers your sizes from 1/8 up to 1 3/8 and all well-organized inside foam inserted in a cool little aluminum case. The sizes are marked on the bits as well as the sheet on the outside of the case. I have not got the chance to try these on a lot of materials so far, but I have used them in various plastic projects and I’ve drilled some holes through the angle iron on my trailer and the bits worked flawlessly and seemed very sharp and durable. Excellent value for five bits and all the sizes of drilling they provide you in one kit.

These are very solid step bits. I admit that I've used them mostly on plastic (and some very thin sheet steel), but they cut quite cleanly. They come very sharp, so be careful handling them, and I haven't had any concerns with the bit shearing from the shank (I've had cheap bits do this even in plastic). They do walk just a bit, but not as bad as some I've used. The case that they come in is surprisingly great for bits at this price point. It's compact and sturdy and holds the bits well without the risk of them smashing into each other and getting damaged. So far these are better than other bits I've used at this price point. Overall these are good bits so far.
