Fisher-Price Octonauts Claw and Drill Gup-D Playset

Totally our favorite gup and we have a lot. Very sturdy. This one goes everywhere with us - outside, in the bath, in the car... Nothing has broken (which is amazing). The figures all fit inside - they don't really stay put as there aren't any pegs. The drill does work in the water and the arms move up and down. The claw is somewhat flexible, but does not have a movable joint. My son wishes he could fold the legs and arms in like the show, but that doesn't stop him from playing with it. My only complaint would be that there is no easy way to drain the water. We shake it out good and let it dry overnight - so far we've had no issues with mold.

My six and seven year old kids have played with this set of toys for the past couple years. They were first introduced to Octonauts on public television. The stories are great. The kids learn a lot about sea creatures. The kids love to use the toys to replay the stories from the television shows and even to make their own stories. Each toy set is amazingly durable and simple to use. I love the well made products with sturdy plastic pieces that my kids are unable to break. Each item is somewhat pricey when first released for sale, but seems to come down quickly in price to a more affordable amount. I would recommend this set to anyone that wants their child to participate in creative, imaginative play.

My son has all of the Octonaut GUPs and this one was the last one we had purchased. He loves to watch the episodes and play with the characters and the GUPs as they appear in each episode. Highly recommend this or any of the other Octonaut GUPs for your little Octonaut fan. They are good quality toys, keep my kids entertained even when the show is not on, and allow them to play out scenes and use their imaginations. We are currently waiting for the GUP-S Polar Exploration Vehicle to become available for purchase in the United States and the Deep Sea Octo Lab is currently on the Xmas wish list :-)

This toy is great for a child who likes to have "bathtub adventures". It is well built and my almost 5 year old loves it. It drains easily and requires no assembly too. I suggest not only this Octonauts toy, but all of the others too. All of the Fisher-Price Octonauts toys are very sturdy, detailed, and fun. I have to be honest, I am 32 years old and might have played with this myself when my son wasn't watching :)

It's built well and shakes dry enough for play after the bath. Could do without the drill arm that sprays water - it's weak and when it does spray it's in every direction including your face and outside the tub. Octonaut figures don't stay seated well and just float around under the dome - but oh well, that's what imagination is for. My son points out all the things different on the GUP from the show, as it is not a good representation of the "real" GUP D, for whatever that's worth

Super cute!!!. Great price, below $15, the quality is good, nice paint etc. the bubble top opens and holds the character. We used it on top of our daughters cake. Can’t comment on the spray mechanism, because we haven’t tried that yet, but even without that; this is totally worth it!. Our daughter couldn’t wait to play with it :)

This was bought as part of a large number of Octonaut toys. The kids love them, and the fact that they are bath friendly only makes sense given the theme. These are a kid safe rubber and plastic combination. There are small pieces so those who eat everything may need supervised, but it is essentially kid friendly. Some even have hidden functions, so be careful! I got squirted in the face with an orange shark, and saw one start moving on it's own (yet there are no batteries, so this must be wind up somehow). I am beginning to suspect that each has their own hidden ability. They are nothing fancy, but getting sprayed during bath time with a toy you thought was safe....well, kids love the shocked expressions.

I bought this as a gift for a grandson who loves the Octonauts series. He loved it as a toy but was extremely happy when he found out that he could take it into the bathtub. There is a lever in back, that when pushed, causes the drill to spin and water to spray out. It works quite well and he had a blast.

Mein Sohn ist von dieser GUP-D begeistert. Es ist stabil, angemessen groß und handlich. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
