These are great for our 10 and 25 lb dogs. They give the cat some respite from the dogs, keep them out of the kitchen while we cook, and are pre-assembled.

This gate is so well made. The wood has a nice weight to it, the finish is beautiful and the hardware is sound and secure. Super happy with this gate, I have 3 dogs medium sized (25-30 pounds) and neither of them can get over it.

Bought to keep my 20 lb dog from going upstairs. Works great!! Heavy enough for him not to move but light enough for me to move. And it's cute too...looks much better than most gates!

I love the height for stepping over this gate. It is not very sturdy compared to other ones I've bought, but I have a 2 pound chihuahua, so it does the job for her. I also like that she can't put her head through the holes, which for some reason with puppy gates, many of them have larger holes? All in all, pretty good!

UPDATE: These do not hold up to a large human knocking them over ... one broke in several places. I was going to replace it, but alas, this was no longer available. I'd knock it down a few stars for the price point based on durability. After having the traditional "baby gates" which were both too tall for some of us to easily step over as well as damaging to the walls, it was time to find a new solution. After reading the reviews I purchased two of these for our entryways to keep our french bulldog on the backside of the house. She is already trained and not a climber, so she has not bothered to move these or knock them over (though we humans have once or twice). A feistier dog could move these or jump over them, in theory. These come assembled and are tri-fold, making them easy to fold up and carry to a new spot when needed. They are painted wood and are quite sturdy. They are nice looking, too. My only concern was they did not come with rubber or felt feet to protect the wood floors. I added some myself, which help keep them in place as well. I'd purchase them again.

I am extremely disappointed with this dog gate. The product description says it's a "wooden" gate, but it's made of cheap, flimsy MDF that feels like it would fall apart if you sneezed on it. The gate is incredibly short and completely unstable. My small terrier, who weighs less than 5 pounds, can easily knock it over, slide it to the side, or, I suspect, chew right through it. This is a safety hazard, not a dog gate. Do yourself a favor and buy a sturdier option. This went straight back to Amazon and the seller tried charging me a restocking fee.

Very good barrier for a hyper pup. Just afraid she might tumble down the stairs before she learns how to get down. Works well. Good quality and easy storage.
