Rolles ice créame maker
As a homemaker, I found this product to be a lot of fun to use as a family. It's easy to use from the first try thanks to the included guide, and you don't need electricity, which is very convenient. I liked that it includes scrapers, which makes rolling the treats easy. It's a good option to share with kids and experiment with different flavors. Overall, it's a great experience.

Fun Idea, But Not as Simple as It Seems
I was a bit surprised by the recipes included with this rolled ice cream maker. Many of them call for pre-made ice cream as an ingredient rather than showing you how to make it from scratch, which kind of defeats the purpose for me... I tried experimenting with my own mixtures using ingredients I had at home (like cream, sugar, and vanilla), but getting the right consistency is trickier than it seems. One batch turned out too whipped, and another attempt with a fruit-based mix ended up more like shaved ice than sorbet. I was hoping this would be an easy, low-commitment way to make small treats without keeping ice cream stocked in my freezer, but it definitely requires more specific recipes and some trial and error. The included recipe booklet wasn’t very helpful, and it’s been a bit challenging to find simple recipes using common ingredients. That said, it’s not a total waste- I think it could be fun once you find the right formula. Just know it’s not quite as simple and fun as it looks, especially since you need to let it re-freeze in between attempts since it doesn't stay cold enough for multiple tries.

Great for one round
This review is for Rolled Ice Cream Maker with Quick Start Guide I selected this rolled ice cream maker for a fun project to do with my granddaughter. The ice cream tray kit comes with one tray and two scrappers. It also includes some basic instructions for use. Mine did not come with any recipes, but I was able to find recipes online. Here's what I used: 1 cup of whipping cream, 1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract, and about 1/4 cup of Dubai pistachio butter. I mixed the first three ingredients well and then just swirled the pistachio butter in at the end. I chilled all the ingredients for about half an hour before using. To make this work, you have to act fast, and you need to be sure that you have properly prepared the tray by freezing it upside down and level flat in your freezer for at least 24 hours. After the appropriate amount of time in the freezer, I removed the tray to prepare my rolled ice cream. I used a small ladle to pour the preparation onto the tray. I just covered the surface of the tray about 1/8" deep. Following the instructions, I waited five minutes to use the scrapper to roll the ice cream. It wasn't quite ready, so I let it sit a few more minutes. The bottom had frozen very well but the top was still a bit liquidy. I used a small cookie sheet to cover the top of the tray hoping it would keep the cold in and help to freeze the top portion of the liquid. That worked well, and after another three minutes I was able to roll the ice cream. I immediately moved the rolls into a container in the freezer to keep them from melting. I was able to make three nice rolls. The rolls had a nice creamy texture and looked exactly as pictured. I then quickly refilled the tray for round two. This round didn't go well at all. It seems that tray is really only good for one round. The second round was impossible to roll and we ended up with snow plow looking piles of ice cream. My kitchen room temperature was at about 66 degrees at the time, so not a hot day at all. You can't pop the tray back into the freezer to refreeze it between sessions because the instructions state that you need to completely thaw the tray out before you refreeze it again. We had a lot of fun mixing our ice cream and making the first three rolls. They were tasty, but it's a small portion for one and a bit too much work for such small reward. It absolutely does work, it's just not something I see us using very often. For anyone preparing meals for one, this would be a nice treat when you're looking for something different. If you're getting this to do with kids, you'll need one for each child because this only works well once and three little rolls of ice cream won't satisfy more than one child. The tray and scrappers are easy to clean and store. The kitchen footprint is a lot smaller than most ice cream makers. I'm just not sure we'll use this very often because it doesn't produce enough to share.

Not worth the time
I was initially very enthusiastic about trying this ice cream maker, but unfortunately, my excitement quickly diminished after using it. The main issue is that the tray itself is incredibly small and quite cumbersome to work with. Furthermore, the provided instructions are not well-written and leave much to be desired in terms of clarity. The product only allows for the use of a minimal amount, making it unsuitable for larger batches or family gatherings. I had envisioned creating some enjoyable summer memories with my toddler, but this product simply isn't practical for that purpose. Although it does freeze the contents, the frozen items melt remarkably fast once taken out of the tray. In conclusion, this rolled ice cream maker provided no enjoyment, and I firmly believe it is not a worthwhile investment of either your time or your money. I would advise against purchasing this product.

Personal rolled ice cream for healthier and cheaper deliciousness
First off I love the idea of this thing. It's small but that's great for a personal kitchen. I can make myself a little rolled sweet treat without going overboard and it stores very nicely next to my sheet pans or even in the cupboard on the side. It's roughly the size of a standard cutting board. But the tray is also deep enough so nothing is going to easily spill over, but I don't love that the stainless steel tray doesn't go to the top. Food will obviously end up touching the plastic if you pile it up a bit and I wish they had just done steel up to the top. But it does look like stainless steel. It says the liquid inside that cools it is edible saltwater. That must be why it gets cold enough to make rolled ice cream. It comes with two plastic scrapers to roll the ice cream, they are pretty standard so you can probably replace it quite easily. It says don't put unsweetened things onto the surface or it will become hard ice…well I do plan to test that LOL I was hoping to make keto icicles so hopefully I'll find some liquids that work okay. Maybe plain yogurt and strawberries or something. It says you can make sorbet, gelato, or ice cream rolls. My con for this thing is the bottom of it has a lot of holes in it that food can get trapped in. I really hate when food prep products aren't smooth. The kitchen is a messy place and that will be annoying to keep clean. It says do not put in the dishwasher, which I did expect but in case anyone was wondering. It also says do not use with metal utensils. To use it basically freeze it upside down (steel plate down) on a flat surface. That lets the saltwater pool right against the steel plate. It needs to freeze at least 12 hours. Then take it out and use it immediately. It needs to come back to room temperature before you rinse it and put it away. It comes with a 1 year warranty if you fill out the paper in the box. Overall it's a neat kitchen gadget that doesn't take up a lot of space. It isn't terribly heavy weight wise just keep in mind it is full of salt water. It's easy to use and unlike a usual ice cream machine it isn't going to be noisy when you're mixing things up.
