UGREEN Ethernet Adapter USB 3.0, Gigabit 10/100/1000Mbps Network Adapter

Works well with both my laptop and Nintendo Switch. I specifically ordered it for my Nintendo Switch so that I could use a wireless connection to game online. It works well for that.

Quality is good

I bought this ethernet adapter after a lot of searching around for one which would work with Android.The chipset used by this adapter is an AX88179 which works on android devices. I have tested it on 2 of my android devices - a Lenovo Tab V7 (Android 9) and a Xiaomi MiPad 4 (Android 10 custom rom). It worked on both the devices. If your android phone / tablet supports OTG, this should most probably work with it (although keep in mind that not all android devices gives you the option to set static IP on the ethernet connection - my use case required this and only the Lenovo had the option to set static IP)I also tested this on one of my windows 10 laptops without an ethernet port and it worked fine (windows automatically installed the drivers). There is a CD included in the box with a link to the latest drivers if you want to update the driver. Alternatively you can get it from ugreen website.It's a bit expensive, but if you are looking for Android compatibility, this product is worth it.

This is an excellent Product to make USB 3.0 to Gigabit network interface. I am using this with my Custom built firewall built on pfsense. Since pfsense is based on FreeBSD the Realtek version of USB to Ethernet will not work. However this one is detected by pfsense, providing gigabit connectivity.

Ich habe mir den USB-Netzwerkadapter für die Nintendo Switch gekauft. Er funktioniert tadellos und benötigt weder Treiber noch eine eigene Konfiguration. Die Lichter zeigen eine aktive Verbindung bzw. Datenübertragung an und die Verarbeitung ist top.Ich wollte lediglich den Ping reduzieren, da mein 5 GHz-WLAN doch gute 70–80 Mb/Sek. schafft. Mit diesem Adapter ist die Internetverbindung nicht unbedingt schneller als das geworden (ich habe eine 150 Mb-Leitung), aber es gibt weniger Aussetzer vor allem bei Rocket League und der Ping ist geringer und stabiler. Für 2,4 GHz-Netzwerke gibt es da sichtlich Verbesserungen schätze ich, wobei vor allem in diesem Frequenzbereich in der Stadt sicher viele Interferenzen auftreten was zu Problemen mit der Verbindung führen kann.Der Adapter ist super und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Schade, dass die Nintendo Switch derzeit noch kein USB 3.0 aktiviert hat, aber wenn das passiert, ist der Adapter damit auch kompatibel. Vor allem kann ich ihn auch für andere Zwecke hernehmen ohne von USB 2.0 durch den Adapter gebremst zu werden.
