Pretty nice printer. Does a lot for a decent price
I wanted a label maker to print wire tags (heat-shrink) for a project I'm playing with using many-pin plugs/sockets. This turned up during searching and was relatively inexpensive, plus it had the smaller tube media available I was looking for. Also prints (and comes with) 12mm wide regular labels. So now have one. It's doing what I hired it for. First it can print 4 lines of text (1/2" tapes) and 2 lines (small tube) although to be fair, the text on 4 row is pretty tiny. (two-row wire markers are pretty good.) An older cheap label maker I have only does 2 lines and only 1/2" tapes. Second the tape backer is split in the middle which makes it pretty easy to remove from the label adhesive. Then it has a lot of symbols that are pretty easy to access as key functions. It seems to have a lot more on cryptic menus that might be explained in the manual which I obviously didn't read (yet?) A nice feature (for printing wire tags) is that it will print as many as you tell it--enter a qty after you hit print and then hit the enter key (always two-steps even if you only want one copy). As soon as you press the cut lever it prints the next one until it's done. Printing is quiet, cutter is smooth and easy. Changing the tape cartridge is quick and simple and the tape stays captured on the roll being replaced--no mess. There is a window on the back to read the tape cart. label without having to open it up. The default for multiple lines is center-aligned (my preference) but seems to be resettable. White space on the ends of the labels seems to be respectful (not so long as to imply an interest in increasing tape use unnecessarily) I haven't used it a lot but so far I'm pretty impressed--it's easy to use, the most-used "stuff" is easy to type in. I charged it when I got it (didn't pay attention how long that took) and have printed a few labels to test it and only down maybe 20% (guess). It seems like it will work as long as I need it on a charge (don't know if it will run while charging). If I had to have a complaint (for balance, maybe?) it would be the keys are kinda small. Maybe made for people used to texting on phones, IDK? Another minor quibble would be tape & tube colors (only white and yellow with black print, as I recall, but I might be wrong there) but I don't really need color-coding for anything I'm planning. The gadget itself is a comfortable handful, with a large, clear LCD display and a standard USB-C conn for charging. It has a hard plastic case with a nice matte texture and some grooves that make gripping easy, and a place for a lanyard to attach. The gray color should hide dirt, if that's something you want. Concerns I can't address yet--how rugged are the labels & printing (handling and weather) , how will it hold up to use (or just getting older) will the battery last (without taking it apart, it looks like it would be a custom pack).

Great product
I find this label maker effective and very easy to use. I am doing an electrical controls project using multiple 14 and 16ga. Wire. The numbers are clear, it shrinks well with a small torch and does multiple labels easily. There is a lot less waste than other label makers I have used. Plus the size is a little bit bigger than a large cell phone so it fits in your tool bag easily

Love this tool
Only getting 4 stars because it doesnโt use a standard cartridge- or if it did I couldnโt determine what it was. If you are creating a wiring harness for your car or have another wiring task that has lots of parts this is a really handy tool

Great part and holds up well
I love this. Should have bought one years ago. Labels are good and work well in the automotive project I did.

What speaks for me when I am not there?
Versatility unmatched! This label maker is a must have for my work. I use for labeling breaker panels, outlet plates, switch plates, storage containers and what I call my โleave behinds.โ My โleave behindsโ are battery operated lights that I leave for customers I have done work for. I put my label on them as a daily reminder of my work. They end up counting on them as a source of portable lighting in more applications than I can mention, and when they do, they see my name and number.

Nothing like described
The user manual only states the obvious but no real info on how to operate the unit. Also I specifically bought because it claims to do heat shrink and other labels but can't find any info on how to print to HS or where to buy other kinds of labels anywhere online for this. Also it claims app compatibility but in spite of what instructions can be found online, this particular model evidently is missing that capability as there is no ability to connect nor any found in settings. This is a stripped down version.

Great customer service!
This little guy works great. But the main reason I'm writing this is that I did have a little problem and am here to report that the customer service was FAST and efficient, solved my problem. THANK YOU Yulia!

Worth every penny!
I was worried spending less on a label maker capable of heat shrink would bite me. but this may be my new favourite tool! - The settings are easy to figure out. - Its capable of very short labels which is nice, not only for waste but for savings. - Automatically knows which cartridge you have installed so you don't have to mess with settings much if you leave it on auto - Ability to print multiple lines is awesome - Refills are affordable - Unit is compact but still feels nice to hold and use with big hands - We still use clear heat shrink over our labels, but they seem to be very durable and don't smudge or wipe off very easily

Good product, defective battery
Got a unit with a defective battery. Wouldn't charge no matter what cable I used. Otherwise it was a very good label printer while the original charge lasted.
