Garbage, grossly undersized wire.
This is absolute junk. The wire is 32 gauge, which is rated for a maximum of 1 amp. Yet the fuse is 5 amps. So, worst case, the wire will overheat and something will fail. Best case, you will just end up with voltage that's much too low. Garbage, nothing else to describe it.

Well made but I would not call it heavy duty
The overall build of the unit is good and is provide a steady output. The wiring is not thick, which will limit its usefulness for higher current draw applications. You can pull 10 amps from a normal 12V socket and this unit openly says not pull more than 5 amps. So the "heavy duty" description is not accurate. If you need to pull 5 amps or less, this will out fine for you and the 10ft cable is quite useful to get power to places that are remote from your 12v socket.

Heavy-Duty 12V Plug – Well Built
This 12V cigarette lighter plug is solid and well-made. The heavy-duty construction feels durable, and the built-in fuse protection adds peace of mind. The LED indicator is a nice touch to confirm power at a glance, and the nearly 10-foot cable provides plenty of reach. Worked perfectly as a replacement plug in my vehicle. Great quality for the price—would buy again.
