Works fine for I2C, just not ideal for LED strips
Picked these up while experimenting with logic level shifting between a 3.3V ESP32 and some 5V devices. The modules worked as expected for normal I2C-style signals. Tried one on a WS2812 LED strip and still saw some flicker. That’s really more about the design of these MOSFET-based shifters than the board itself. They’re great for I2C, but not always the best choice for the fast timing LED strips use. For their intended purpose they work perfectly fine and the boards themselves seem well made. Did what they were suppsoed to do.
