It’s slightly too wide, which causes the cotton to pull apart when you try to thread it through. It works, but not cleanly, and it’s more frustrating than it should be for something this simple. The price is better than OEM, and it ultimately did the job, but the fit issue keeps it from being a smooth experience. I don’t smoke anymore, but there’s still something satisfying about getting these back in working order. They're too large and they can't be pulled down into the lighter without the wicks getting ruined. Brought My Old Zippos Back… With Some Frustration
I have two old Zippos that hadn’t been touched in decades, and this kit did get them working again without much hassle. No missing parts, no specialty tools, and the process itself is straightforward. That said, the wick sizing is off. It’s slightly too wide, which causes the cotton to pull apart when you try to thread it through. It works, but not cleanly, and it’s more frustrating than it should be for something this simple. The price is better than OEM, and it ultimately did the job, but the fit issue keeps it from being a smooth experience. I don’t smoke anymore, but there’s still something satisfying about getting these back in working order.

Wicks don't work for Zippo Lighters.
Padding & Filling are fine, wicks do NOT work on Zippo lighters. They're too large and they can't be pulled down into the lighter without the wicks getting ruined. Just wasted money on them and both of them stripped through because they're too large in circumference for Zippo lighters.
