Bought this for use in my personal homelab to avoid having to buy a dedicated monitor, mouse, and keyboard for monitoring and performing various tasks on the machines. Worked out of the box! I initially had some issues with latency but this was fixed as soon as I updated the device (which can be done at the press of a button in the settings menu of the web UI). Comes with all the cables you'd need, though bear in mind it uses a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, so if your machine outputs DP (or another type of output) you'll need an adapter. Tried this with various machines of various types, seems to be compatible with anything with a HDMI (even if you have to use an adapter). I intend to find a USB+HDMI KVM switch with hotkey support to be able to remotely switch between all of my machines via 1 JetKVM. All in all, highly recommend!

The OTABOX JetKVM is a surprisingly capable open-source IP KVM switch. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, the remote control experience is smooth with very little lag. The web interface is clean, and the open-source approach gives you plenty of flexibility if you like to tweak or integrate with other tools. The JetKVM Open-Source IP KVM Switch arrived the next day. The KVM switch was well packed and came with usb cables and instructions. We found that the KVM switch was well built aluminium I think very small about 45mm wide x 40mm high will fit almost anywhere . There is 4 connection ports USB C/HDMI mini/RJ45 and RJ11 on the back of the JetKVM switch and a full size screen on the front showing active connections/IP address/device connected/USB status and HDMI status and touch screen for additional settings with 1GB ram installed. It will work with most OS systems Mac Windows etc. We found that it was easy to connect and use giving good performance with good quality pictures HD 1080p and sound and the remote control of your computer was very positive and straight forward to use. We are very pleased with this KVM switch which is very compact works very well with good quality results just what we needed to remotely control our computers from a distance.

Been following these KVMs since back on Kickstarter, always wanted to get one and fortunately I have now, and that are just as good as I imagined, network boot mounting, wake on Lan, fantastic UI and web control, it's a super powerful and super affordable network KVM that just works and is great for professionals and hobbyists alike! Locally the speed is fantastic and even provides its own internal reporting. Build quality and package is great and has a healthy quality dense feel. Looks great in my homelab! I will say one thing but this can be fixed in an update, it expects your machine to also have a monitor attached, for the hdmi to be consistently working, and I do not have one, a quick refresh fixes it for the session but it mostly sits saying hdmi disconnected which isn't a huge deal. A plug in display spoofer could probably also fix this! Other than that highly recommend this product absolutely fantastic product and loads of community support!
