That would be a very intimidating shot. But for mixed drinks or non-alcoholic drinks they are fine. I got "Color set 1" which comes with five identical glasses that each light up in a multicolored pattern. They fade for a moment a blink for a while and change colors periodically. I can't tell from the description, but if color set 2 has glasses of different colors that might be better for a party, as it would be handy for distinguishing one person's drink from another. Anyways, these are transparent plastic cups. They look fine, the electronics and LEDs are pretty subtle until they actually turn on. The also do not have any kind of power switch, which is nice. If you add liquid they turn on, and when the liquid is removed they turn off. So if a drink is left filled overnight presumably the battery will die. They use CR2025 batteries, which are pretty cheap and easy to obtain. They are fun novelty glasses. Nice for parties and such. Review: Undoubtedly the coolest item I've ever ordered! - This is undoubtedly the coolest thing I've ever ordered on desertcart! This thing lights up and blinks with fluid in it, and automatically turns off when there is no fluid in it. I love that it's plastic so that if for whatever reason it drops it won't just shatter. I also love that you can replace the batteries if they die! We throw a lot of gatherings adult and kid, and these are going to be the talk of our next Gathering guaranteed! To give you reference 8 and 1/2 oz is about the size of a highball glass or whiskey glass. He's however are not exclusive to adults because you can put any food at all you'd like in it. You receive six in the pack, it makes this an excellent value! I think I'm going to have to go back and order at least four more sets for our next Gathering!
