Looks so much better that the standard steel bar bolt so matched the door's other hardware

Looks good and easy to use but one snapped straight away it might of been the way we fitted it still useful in helping secure the house

Sturdy, as described, just what I needed

Extremely poor quality in almost every respect. Very bad castings. The bolt was very loose and wobbled inn one of the locks. The other bolt would not move throughout its full range and would get stuck. The round handles are designed to screw on, but the screw is not welded in place on the bolt, so it turns. There's some odd orange material used to remove friction between the bolt and the lock, it's ragged and can be seen externally. There are also what look like pieces of spring steel designed to locate the bolt laterally, but one had already rotated out of position. The screws are very soft material. On the plus side, the chroming actually seemed to look fairly good. Not recommended though. Refund requested.

Positives: - The metal finish looks good (when done well) - Cheap. Negatives: - The quality in what I received was inconsistent. One was as expected, the other was jammed because the soft material used to ease the bolt back and forth wasn't attached properly. - Seemingly mass produced (read above). - One didn't appear new, the brassy finish had scuffs, dings, etc.

The bolt is beautifully made and looks amazing, it is very eye catching. Mounting was fairly straightforward however the screws that came with it weren't of the same high quality as the bolt and consequently the grooves in the screw would sear until you couldn't screw it in. I did try deeper and wider pilot drilling but too wide and it wasn't firmly mounted.

Looks Great. Just what I needed and wanted for a wooden window in our living room BUT one of the screws - the most important one which holds the sliding part in place - was missing on one. Now I have to pray I can find one at a local hardware store. I do wish the companies would check that all the parts were included in the package before they ship. I can't afford to return the product as I live on an island off Portugal. And these were not cheap.
