BUY: If you love Revenge of the Sith & LEGO. DO NOT BUY: If you are not a fan of the prequels. This is a must have set for any Revenge of the Sith fans, it's a major improvement over the original darth vader transformation and has great minifigures including medical droids that are unique to this set. You also get extra gold lightsaber hilts with Palpatine and battle-scarred Anakin is an awesome figure to collect. The construction of this set feels solid and it is actually very easy to use the function of this set, putting on Darth Vader's helmet works well and is efficient for display. PROS: - Great design/build construction - Amazing value for price - Lots of minifigure variety - Exclusive minifigures - Practical function that actually works - Iconic scene and accurate depiction of transformation CONS - Not a very mobile set

I had recently purchased this LEGO set along with LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Yoda’s Hut over the weekend because I was feeling nostalgic about Star Wars in general. Both scenes were iconic in their own right, and it's great to have them memorialized in LEGO form. This set is priced correctly at $15. Even though the set has 250+ pieces, most of the pieces are identical and the build itself is fairly repetitive and simplistic. With that said, compared to a lot of sets at this price point, you get a lot of bang for your buck. The design of the set is solid, which is in essence a solid ring formation that represents an android surgical suite. And the play feature of putting on Darth Vader's helmet as he completes his journey to the Dark Side is an absolute treat. The set comes with three minifigures (two versions of Darth Vader) and a retinue of loyal droids. Treat yourself to this set at its awesome discounted price!
