I had made the switch to natural deodorants about 8 years ago. In that time I have tried so many natural brands I can't even list them all. When I found this one, I was ready to simply experiment on yet another liquid that was probably not going to work. I was intrigued by the roll-on style that I had not seen since the 80s when my mom was using this format. Anyway, the first time I used it, I did realize that you need to rub it in a bit after rolling on because it is wet. However, it goes on clear and it has that "unscented" smell of "nothing but something" that doesn't bother me (quickly dries down) and it does not stain at all. It does not stain dark tops nor does it turn white tops yellow. In terms of funk, it will keep you smelling like nothing for about 20-24 hours (depending on stress levels or exercise), which is pretty standard for most natural deodorants as they still allow you to sweat, they just help with the stinky bacteria growth. I have been repurchasing this deodorant for about 2 years and I am very happy with it. I do not have a sensitivity to baking soda so I have never had a rash/reaction with it so will happily continue to use it.

Greatest way to apply magnesium as it has no scent and its stain resistant, great product for the effectiveness and longevity of those who need it.

This is great deodorant no aluminum doesn’t feel sticky. Doesn’t mark your clothing. It’s my favorite.

I wanted to review this for those who expected this to be unscented. It definitely has a strong scent of the mixture of the ingredients in this deodorant. There is no masking scent to the combination of the ingredients so when this is applied it smells bad like just the ingredients natural smells all mixed together. I don’t know how to describe the scent exactly, it kinda smells like a weird powder / mineral or something just odd, but it is not pleasant to wear as a deodorant. I have to return this. I definitely recommend to get this in a scented version like lavender if you do want this deodorant. It also applied white and sticky until you have to have your arms up for a long time or rub it in with fingers to absorb and dry on the skin which i don’t like so maybe the gel version of this they sell is better. But I just can’t make this work. I don’t know how it lasts for sweat because I’m not going to use this , for 12$ it’s too much to have something this bad smelling , definitely should be a masking ingredient in there to make this unscented in my opinion. Or I’m just not the right customer for this type of product.

I’ve been using dissent deodorants for a while since the old ones I’ve used gave me bad reactions. I decided to use this one because it rated well on Yuka. It rated well because the ingredients used to make it were good for my health, but not efficient as a deodorant. I tried it out and realized that it didn’t cover much smell. I didn’t stink but the deodorant wasn’t as efficient as another deodorant brand (i think it’s Schmidt) that gave a good aroma. I added layers or tried applying more but that didn’t help. I go to the gym sometimes so I just use a different deodorant for that.

I’m magnesium deficient and had no idea until I did some research on why all of a sudden I started to smell a lot. I started taking more magnesium and found this deodorant and boom! Problem solved. This deodorant is small and mighty! I sweat a lot and I only have to put it on a few times a day versus other deodorants I’d have to do multiple applications. I highly recommend!!!

This product does actually work-- that is if I can get it to dry. I have trouble getting this product to dry in a reasonable amount of time even if I use a blow dryer. Therefore, it's not the perfect product for me. I do like the magnesium because my body does well with it and I can tell that it actually helps my energy level. I am scent sensitive and have to use the unscented because of the scents available I thought I might be able to tolerate, I cannot.( I've tried three scents and the unscented ; roll on mint/ rosemary, gel fresh and gel coconut) So I'd say I'm still looking for a magnesium deodorant that works and dries, doesn't leave white marks and ruin my undergarments and clothes, and has a light tolerable scent that doesn't overwhelm.
