Compact Auto Open/Close Umbrella, Black, One Size

I recently purchased this black umbrella from Samsonite, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is outstanding, it feels sturdy and durable, even in strong winds. The automatic open/close button works smoothly and makes it easy to use with one hand, which is great when you're on the go. The black fabric has a sleek, professional look, and the water resistance is top-notch. After a heavy rain, it dried quickly without any signs of wear. The handle is comfortable and offers a good grip, even when wet. This is by far one of the best umbrellas I’ve owned practical, stylish, and made to last. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something reliable and well-made.

This is exactly the umbrella I have been looking for, mainly for use while traveling. It's light weight and not too long so it fits in my carry on tote. It opens and retracts as well as my larger, heavier umbrella. I have no problem holding it while it's open and rain is pouring. I haven't tested it in heavier winds yet, but it seems sturdy enough to me to handle the winds effectively.

If you are looking for a super compact and lightweight umbrella from a good brand, this is it. Was too small for me.

Three key points for labeling as best POCKET travel umbrella; less than 8 oz, only 10 inches folded and thin, just over an inch. Check all the other mini umbrellas and you can not beat that combination. The shorter ones are too fat and too hard to refold. This one is easy to engage and refold. I have researched and tried way too many. There are others that get higher marks for sturdiness but they are too bulky for your pocket. This one fits in my front pocket, back pocket and even my utility pocket without being bulky in all 3 measurements.

Atrocious quality!! Was destroyed the first day I started using it due to wind. Only useful on a perfectly calm day of rain.

This umbrella looks well made, and so far has held very well in moderate wind. The two-tier canopy allows air to flow through without pulling the entire umbrella away from you. I had no flips so far. The only small negatives are that it is a little heavy for a compact umbrella, and that the auto close only starts the process, but you have to apply quite a lot of effort to actually close it (and it won't reopen until you do).

Have had this umbrella for years now and it's still going well. Perfect size and lightweight to store in handbag. Open/shut buttons still work every time. The velcro on the strap is starting to get fuzzy, but it still holds even after a LOT of use. Very good quality item. I hope the new ones are still as good when I need to replace this one.
