Just got back from Thailand and this worked GREAT! Other adapters would not have suffice. If Thailand is on the agenda get this adapter.

These plugs adapt the physical architecture of plugs BUT NOT VOLTAGE. My example is that I had a cel phone charger that was rated at 240 volts but it did not have the plug size and prong pattern/physical architecture that matched the overseas wall plugs. These adapters married the two different styles. These adapters will NOT adapt 240volts to 120 volts. You will need an additional voltage converter to step down the voltage.

Didn't work! Used this in Thailand to power a small travel fan and it promptly burned out the fan's motor. No problem with the fan previously. Thank goodness we were in the hotel room when it happened; could have started a fire otherwise.

Worked fine but I realized that my 110v plug into any regular 220 v. In Thailand and not needed.

The plug adapter work well, but interestingly, I didn’t really need them, as the plugs in Thailand or at least where I was staying in Bangkok, worked with the ones from North America. Wish I had known that sooner but live and learn I hope.
