Works well enough. Not a high-quality binder, but great for the price. Difficult to find legal size binders, especially ones that are reasonably priced. Contrary to other reviews, it is not hard to open the retaining rings. However, due to the cheaper design, the 3 rings are standard letter size and adding the typical end levers to open would interfere with the 14" length of paper. Just have to grab each side of a ring (I use the center ring for the best leverage) and pull apart to open and push together to close. A no-frills design that is still priced lower than any other option. And it does include vinyl pockets on both sides. Frequent, daily use will likely degrade the product after 6 months to a year, but for storage and reference, this binder will hold up. Great value binder that allows the use of a standard 3 hole punch when set to 14" paper vs. 8.5". High-end legal binders use a 4 hole punch that is both unique and hard to find in a typical office. They're so inexpensive, I've bought many and order a few when needed as an "add on". Great for initial use and then for archival storage.

This works great for legal size papers. A standard hole punch works with this. Looks nice and easy to use.

The material quality is quite poor, although I did expect that given the price. However, my main issue is with the size of the binder - it doesn't fully cover my legal-sized sheet protectors when closed.

We purchased there to use for the legal sized papers that they use for appraisals on properties and real estate closing paperwork. The price was better than most we looked at, they aren't thick and bulky, seem to be durable, look professional, and open and close easily. Happy buyer!
