American Home K2R 33001 Spot Remover, 5 Ounce

K2R is very effective in eliminating spots for grease, oil, and dirt from garments that would require dry cleaning. The action involves a solvent, propelled by compressed gas, and an absorbent powder. The solvent dissolves the spot, the powder absorbs it. Sometimes more than one application is needed. This product has been around for years. It has been, for me, particularly effective on wool and cotton. Both fibers are absorbent.

This stuff is pure magic for stain removal, super effective, dries quick and easy to use. I use it on my laundry and have never had any problems or adverse effects. The only draw back is the smell is very strong

A great product, very effective and convenient, but wow is it expensive

A friend who recommended this called it "magical" and she was right! Works well on carpet. Haven't tried it on fabric. Some old (like several years old stains under the couch) needed muliple sprayings to come out but newish stains come out in one try. It's smelly so you may want to open windows before using.

Had a stain on some upholstery, tried cleaning it how I normally would, but that kinda made the stain bigger? So I googled it, found this stuff k2r, and wow it just about fixed the entire thing in one pass. I'll do a couple more but I'm very impressed.

Smell is a little off-putting, but it dissipates rather fast. I suggest using the spray outside or in a well ventilated room, e.g. a bathroom with the exhaust fan on. The spray may need one or two repeats, but it lifts off greasy stains well. The garment usually will need washing afterwards since it dries as a white powder and, even after brushing off, some white residue as well a slight ring around the edge of the sprayed area may be visible. Washing takes care of this.

K2R kind of works, I bought it to clean my fabric shoes that got ruined in my wedding with the rain, it sort of removed the stains. I also tried it on a few spots on an old couch--it did clean the food stains, but the mysterious, unknown stains are still there. Also, it's very dusty and smelly, very hard to get off of the fabric after you spray it on.
