My complaint about the Relaxed Fit Wrangler Carpenter Shorts is not about the fit or quality of the shorts.=> It is about the auxiliary carpenter POCKETS!!For years I have purchased the Standard Wrangler Carpenter Shorts from Walmart.One of my favorite features is that the auxiliary pockets readily fit iPhones – including the “plus” size.This time I chose Amazon but you did not have the Standard model so I bought the “Relaxed Fit” even though it was more costly. Little did I know that my favorite feature of the auxiliary pockets was gone!! The pockets were so narrow that my iPhone would not fit AT ALL!!I have since ordered the Standard model shorts again from Walmart – and again the auxiliary pockets are fine and my iPhone 6S Plus FITS PERFECTLY with room to spare!!However, since there was no technical flaw in your offering I did not return them. I will hold them as a spare if needed. But I will say I was disappointed in this difference!!Sad to report,Harry

The quality of these Wrangler jeans has really gone down. The fit has changed a lot and the material is way thinner than it was in the past. I have worn Wranglers forever but I don't think I buy them again because the relaxed fit isn't relaxed. More like slim fit. I purchased through Amazon because I couldn't find them in stores anymore. When I tried it on I thought the waist was good, actually loose, but the hips and seat were very tight. I put my cell phone in one pocket and my wallet in another and I thought to myself "that's too tight" So I thought if I would squat down it would stretch the jeans out. Big mistake, they split wide open in the back side because of the cheaper light duty material. I'm very disappointed in Wrangler.

The quality is there but the fit is a bit snug for a relaxed fit. I wear 42 in standard type relaxed fit shorts for work. The carpenter shorts in 44 fit snug. I recommend buying a size or two even in carpenter shorts, unless you're a guy with a small waist. It's a judgement call. But I'd start with a size larger than you wear. It's easier to wear a belt than feel like a 3 pound ham, in a 1 pound wrapper. I just bought a pair ofWrangler jeans in 44 at Walmart and they practically fall off of me. Something is wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised that I found jeans shorts for BIG guys and ordered 3 pairs of these Wrangler Jeans Shorts. I originally intentionally ordered one size too big because for some reason the jeans shorts are tighter than the same size of Wrangler jeans pants, but I returned those and ordered the next larger size because although they fit very loosely at the waist (I wear a belt anyway), they were very tight at the hips, and the crotch of the jeans shorts left little room for flexing.I just received the replacement order of the next size up and SAME ISSUE. The jeans shorts do not leave much room for flexing. These jeans shorts are simply cut that way. Forget about these jeans shorts if you ever need to throw your leg over a log or a seat, otherwise they fit just fine. They seem to be of good quality, but don't expect to find them very flexible in the crotch area - they might as well have sowed the legs together!

I wear a size 34 and oddly enough am replacing Wrangler cargo shorts of that size that fit perfectly and relaxed on me. The reason I bought these is due to them being labeled as relaxed. The shorts I got here hug my thighs and I literally can't even close the button on them. I'd say they are at least a size too small at the waist. I know you get what you pay for but wth Wrangler... I buy jeans for this price from Wrangler that fit ok so this style here is a fluke I wouldn't risk trying again.

i bought 3 of these for my husband to work in, i have bought these in the past but the quality has come WAY down on these.all three have ripped from the back pockets (weak jean material).i purchased all three on june 11th 2017 and i am told i am past the return window even though i didn't even have them for a month.DONT BUY!!!!!!

I own a couple pairs of these shorts and have basically worn them to death: holes in the pockets and on the butt. They are far and away my favorite shorts, I wear them almost full time every summer: hiking, working in the shop, gardening, yard chores or just hanging out. Comfortable, rugged, and classic style. My only complaint with them is neither of the side pockets are big enough to hold my big cell phone in its rugged case, but these pockets were designed to hold lineman's pliers or screwdrivers, not a Galaxy S7 in an Otterbox!No local store carries them anymore so I was tickled to find them on Amazon. I've only ordered one pair so far but I'll be buying another soon.

I am 6'2" and 400 pounds. I am a truck driver. I wear shorts year round and I'm constantly looking for comfortable shorts. These are so comfortable and fit perfectly. I bought all 3 colors that were available and my only complaint is you don't have more colors available. Love these

Gave this pair of shorts as a gift - it fits very well; true to size and fabric is of a good quality. Exactly as pictured and described. Great value.Cell phone pocket or pocket above it both fit (snug) an iPhone 6S in a flip case - see pics. May differ depending on stitching and/or for other cases/ phones.

During lock down was unable to buy workshorts. Someone suggested Amazon and I was so happy to find them, and for an excellent price. Bought 2 and they arrived quickly.

I love these shorts, they fit and take a major beating before ripping, which hasn't happened yet.Size fits as it says, im 34 and perfect fit.Don't dry on high heat, do medium instead, trust me.
