This camera is easy to use, compact, lightweight. Recharging the included batteries, transferring files to a PC, and playing back photos and videos is easy. The night vision is surprisingly very good. The videos, even at high def resolution, come out grainy and pixelated. Like it just scales up a low quality image capture. My aim was to record music videos for publishing or posting online, but it's not the quality I was looking for. There is latency when using the zoom while recording. Frame rate is not always consistent. The microphone was easy to use, but like the video, the sound quality isn't the best. Not terrible, though I did not test it in a loud setting. If you're looking for a home camcorder or something for casual use, this is a great option. But if you're trying to get professional quality, you're better off using your phone. The price is on par with the end product.
