Cons: • I think the concepts are so much... • Examples are very less...you may face difficulty to do all the exercise problems.. But these are not affects me...🙂

You can learn from basic as a beginner and also learn higher computational techniques.Basic algorithms and combinatorics is given in full of Content.Only thing is bad about this book is that answers are given for only odd numbered questions .There are variety of questions ,projects to do and become an expert. Very good book

After ordering this book I found out that this "Special Indian Edition" is the adaptation of the Sixth Edition of the US edition of the same book. There are MANY differences between the Sixth Edition and the Seventh Edition. Because the cover page of the book says that it's the seventh edition, anyone would assume that it's true. After opening the book, the preface to the sixth edition has been written instead of the seventh. The content of the book matches with the contents of the Sixth Original Edition. The publishers are faking editions for the sake of money. Inside the book it's clearly mentioned that "Profesor Rosen was not involved in this Indian Adaptation". So do not fall prey to the cover of the book like me. If you do not care about the edition of this book and the differences it has with the original edition, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, it's better to look elsewhere. I hope this review is helpful. After a month of reading the book . ---- Very Helpfull to Understand practical aspects of Discrete Mathematics in Computer Sciences. PS. Note this is not original Rosen book but it is Indian adoption of rosen's books. I realized this after I received book, thought I did mistake initially but when I have gone through the few topics realized it is not less than Rosen's book. Original book is more costlier than this. If you get it at discount, go for it.

Book received in good condition

I got this book for about Rs.250 less than the prize at my local book store. Delivered on time in excellent condition. Love you Amazon. Regarding the book, it's a great enjoyment reading it. In all chapters there are sections giving an insight into the lives of great mathematicians and and also sections explaining the application of the mathematical concepts to Real world software applications in the present world.

The greatest book for discrete mathematics,very comprehensive and has a good set of examples to both illustrate concepts as well as show real world scenarios, it will make you love the mathematics in computers. Had a ton of problems too for those preparing for exams.

I don't know what to say about the book , Man India ke log kabhi sudhrne waale nahi hai . Even from this standard book pages are missing ,whole probability chapter is missing . So many pages are missing, I have matched with online pdf and this is not good. I don't know whose mistake is this seller or Indian edition or what else but man this is cheating. This is a standard book for mathematics for Computer science students mainly Engineering students and pages are missing. Please prefer to download online Keneth Rosen book English standard edition.

Book came within 4 days of ordering. It is the international version so the page numbers are slightly off, but exactly the same exercises for a fantastic cost.

Lots of problems and examples. Would recommend for an intro course.

As a heads up to future students, the questions in this book did not match the assigned questions. This was a class taken at a university in the Southwestern USA.

Good solid book but it is not the same book that is used in my class. The title is the same, the edition is the same, the contents are different and the exercise questions in the book are not the same so I cannot do my homework. The front of the book says "Indian Adaptation" which I did not notice before I purchased the book. This must be my punishment for trying to save some money on a text book. Now I still need the book. Very upsetting. Apparently this book has a different ISBN even though it is under the same listing as the other ISBN. Get the hardback, avoid this paperback.

Despite matching the ISBN number to the one required for my class, this is not the right text! When it arrived, there was a statement that says it is unlawful to sell outside of India. Well, the company sold it me and I'm not in India. The problem numbers in the chapters don't match up with what the 'real' textbook has.
