You are purchasing one 3-6'' tall (pot height is not included) Eugenia selloi (Pitangatuba) Seedling Tree Starter Plant in 2.5'' square pot. Height: 5-10 ft. (1.5-3 m) Hardiness: USDA Zone 9 Sun Exposure: Full Sun - Partial shade, especially when young Foliage: Evergreen Time To Fruit: 2-3 years The tree is very slow growing, but can be quick to flower. 2-3 year old plants can flower when barely a foot tall. Foliage and flowers makes an attractive ornamental. Fruit - raw or made into juices, sherbets and jellies. Aromatic. The thin-skinned fruit has a thick, fleshy, succulent pulp with a very pleasant, acidic flavor. This arrived more quickly than expected, with thorough care instructions and one of the best packing jobs Iāve ever seen! With plants purchased online, itās hard to be sure at the start that the plant doesnāt have any āinvisibleā problemsāblight, mold, disease, parasites, etc.ābut it looks beautiful and overall seems pretty healthy despite the long journey. Looking forward to seeing how it does in the next few weeks!
