Very pleased with this OBD reader. Used it on a 2006 Toyota Avensis that had its engine malfunction warning lamp lit. Was straightforward to use, and allowed me to read and clear the error code I was getting. I'll now wait to see if the problem reoccurs, or whether it was just a one off.Either way this is a useful bit of kit to help diagnose problems and decide whether to take the car to the garage or not.The unit itself is good enough quality for casual use. The manual isn't great because of poor English, but the unit is pretty intuitive and simple to use.Compared to garage fees this represents excellent value for money.

Engine fault light on,straight away light off working fantastic

Apart from the manual written in a form of English known only to the manufacturers, this has been excellent. The screen is backlit and very clear and the whole device is powered from the car's OBD port. There's enough cable to get the scanner into a comfortable position as well. Quickly diagnosed the engine fault code. It's not professional quality, but for quick home use it's more than sturdy enough.

I don't know where to start with this thing.It's easy to use, it needs no batterys as it runs of the power from van/car.Easy to read and navigate the menus.Good back-light on the screen.So this little thing has saved me a small fortune today. Its erased a code and got a anti shudder valve back working on a vivaro 2009.Helped me detect faulty alternator on transit 2016.Removed limp mode from another vivaro 2009 and turned engine light of.Tested it on a 2016 audi a4 identified car straight away fortunately nothing needed doing on this but if it had this little beauty would of been up to the job.Highly recommended even if you don't need it keep it in your glove box as might save you a small fortune one day.

Was very pleased when first used on my London taxi, when tried to use it on other vehicles and the later diesel taxi it would not connect to them, seems this code reader only works on the make and model you first connect it to. Other than that it is very comprehensive reader and code clearer on my Euro 5 taxi, good value

Clearly a second hand unit. In a zip lock bag inside a damaged box. Also screen damaged and scratched. Not operating on three different cars. Returned and asked for a refund

My car came up with a check engine light and I started panicking thinking something was terribly wrong with it. To add to that, it was the weekend and no garages were open. My dad found this and with prime delivery I had it delivered the next day. Connecting it to the car is pretty straightforward (I'm a female with no car knowledge, just for perspective). There are YouTube videos with step by step instructions too if anyone is more of a visual learner.The device is easy to use too, quickly came up with the error code. Turns out it was the fuel cap that wasn't on properly. Using this I was able to delete the error code, secured the fuel cap and haven't had anything come up since.I would definitely recommend this just for peace of mind for those times when something comes up on the dash and you have to decide whether it can wait a bit or it should be checked out straight away.
