Great item. I put it on a cord that has been giving me trouble, rarely charging, and it’s holding the end straight with only a slight curve and charging well. I thought I would need to get a new cord. At least not yet. And it isn’t sliding down. I had read a review that said to start with the widest end near the beginning of the phone cord and it would hold place better.

UPDATE: they’re slipping down the cord...I get tired of putting back where it’s supposed to be so I put a tape on it. What a bummer! ——————————————————————— Received it super fast like 1day delivery(prime member), it’s so easy to use! I put a pair of it in 1 charger in less than 5 minutes! (Refer at the left charger in the picture with green cable saver)—> I almost wanted to throw that one before because the wires on both ends are all exposed & bent! Then I tried to put 2 pcs of cable saver on each end(on top of washi tape I wrapped over the exposed cable) & literally as the name cable saver implies it indeed saved my cable!!! So very very happy!!! Can’t wait to show off to my husband when he comes home from work!!! Plus it comes in different cute colors! Love them all!!! Definitely recommend!!!

The product itself is sturdy but when it comes to protecting the bending of the wire which was the whole point of me buying these they are not very sturdy nor do they prevent charges from bending and getting destroyed. I even put 2 on entwined yet that made little difference. I love the variety of the colors as did my kids and for the amount and price it was a good deal. But the usefulness of the product and the whole point in the purchase of them for their use was a huge disappointment. You can't get them close enough to the port to really make a difference to prevent bending there so it doesn't break.

Extremely easy to install, wrap around cord first with thick end toward connector, slide up to meet connector. They work great and will save all your cable connections.

They are a little loose on my cord but I put two on it and it works perfectly at protecting it from folding or tearing. It comes with a bunch so you can put it on your phone chargers, computer chargers etc. Its really easy to put on all you have to do is wrap it around whatever part of the charger you want to put it on and they are thick eneough to not rip easily but not too thick where you can move your charger at all. I like to use the different colors for different types of chargers and since they look super bright it helps you find your charger if you loose it.

Looking for something that will keep my MBAir cord from bending at the connector. Sadly, Apple cords suck, especially since they moved away from the MagSafe connectors. With the USB-C only on one side, you're forced to twerk that cord into odd positions if you're plugging into a wall socket on the right instead of the left. My computer's only a few months old, and I noticed the cord precariously bending at the end of the connector. (Those of us with Apple devices know what comes next. Loose or frayed cords. The only saving grace is that Apple has redesigned the USB-C so that it can be removed from the actual plug, and it only costs you 20 bucks to replace, rather than $75. Still, it's 20 bucks I can use elsewhere, so started the hunt for something to brace it. (Will put these at both ends to head off the other side having the same issue.) Someone else posted that they put two together, which helped strengthen the wrap around the cord. I did the same. It does make it somewhat stronger. It still bends, just not as easily. Also, two wraps keep it securely in place as it sits on my computer. Bonus, I can immediately find it when I leave it on my desk, due to the bright colors. Is it perfect? No. But it's a darn sight better than it was without. I put one on both ends of the Lightning cable for the iPhone. While that cord is thinner, and only one slips, putting two on it helps to hold it in place. Basically, for the price, and the number you get, it's worth it to see if it will keep the cords safe a bit longer than without.

Very pleasantly surprised with how well this works! Keeps my cords working even if I'm resting my phone on my chest while it's plugged in. I found when I first put it on, it kept sliding around, but once you find the sweet spot it doesn't move around at all, and stays securely on the cord

it does the job. however material is harder than expected.

Bought these to save wear and tear at the ends of my lightning and usb cables. they fit very well and are easy to put on. Might be a bit small for laptop cables.

These cable protectors are great at stopping your cables bending so much that it'll slowly wear down, damaging the cables.
