Men's Moab Adventure MOC Hiking Shoe

These have exceeded my expectations in every way. I just got a new puppy this winter, and have been having to get dressed in the middle of the night to take her outside. Wanted something to slip on easily, yet durable enough endure cold, mud, snow, ...and anything else I might step in! These seemed to fit the bill, as I've worn Merrell chameleons for years, and loved them. But they're a bit light for snow and mud. My first pair of these Moabs were in the same size as my Chameleons. Surprisingly, they were a bit too large. After an easy swap on Amazon, I get a pair that's a half size smaller. The fit was excellent. The addition of a pair of really good insoles made the fit perfect for me. As for wear and appearance, I have zero complaints. The Nubuck upper looks and feels like good leather, they clean easily and don't scuff like some leather shoes do. Even though I intended to use them for late night dogwalks, they are pretty much my everyday, all day shoes. Definitely comfortable and have every indication of being long wearing. No pinch points, or sharp flexion areas to speak of. After two weeks of daylong wear, they look good. No tread wear, just a little bit of weathering on the leather. I think it makes them look better than brand new. All in all, I'm loving them. Considering the prices of good, long wearing shoes today, I'd call them a relative bargain. Also, the fact that they come in Wide sizes is a special bonus for those of us with chonky hoofers.

I purchased these approximately nine months ago on November 3, 2023. I got them to just have a pair of quick slip on shoes for walking our dog twice a day. I love Merrell hiking shoes and have two pairs of the lace up Moab, and have had plenty Merrell hiking shoes in the past. It is pretty much the only hiking shoe I wear, and Merrell is the only shoe that I have found that I could order on line, and it fits perfect every time. I also have two pairs of the Merrell Jungle Moc slip on shoes, but they have a different type sole. This Moab Moc slip on hiking shoe has the exact type sole of my other regular lace up Moab shoes', and I love it, it is perfect! Same great traction and sole durability as my lace up Moab shoes. What started out as just wearing them to walk the dog, has turned into my every day, all day shoe! I love the fit, comfort, support, and ease of just slipping them on and off. I have literally worn them almost every day and probably put at least 3-4 or more miles a day on these shoes, although most of it is casually walking the dog, and walking in general. Check out the pics, they have held up very well. Also, I just wipe them down when they get a little dirty and and they're just fine. I love the look and style, they go much better with casual dress up jeans and dockers, they look much better than my lace up moab shoes. With the exception of some formal events I have had to attend, and of course some winter snow boot, and cowboy boot days, these shoes have been my daily go to foot wear. If hiking shoes have feelings, I'm sure my lace-ups are feeling both a little dusty and dejected lol. I definitely recommend these shoes, and I will definitely be buying another pair when the time comes to do so.

Great shoes. Comfortable and wide... they mean wide! I am a big guy. Size 13 wide, I expected a tight fit with my orthotic inserts. Feel great on my feet. The quality and fit is why I always go with this brand. Price may seem high but take a walk in these shoes.

If I'm hiking without a backpack, such as a Day hike, then this is my hiking shoe. I'd give it five stars except it's not great on wet rocks, where you need to be careful about slipping. It is great on wet dirt and mud because the thick tread does grip. Overall very satisfied.

Good looking shoe. Great construction and material. These runs a little big. I wear size 12 in most shoes. In this p probably a size 11 or 11 1/2. Easy to walk in, comfortable, stable and gripping tread. No complaints. I have never had a poor pair of shoes from this manufacturer. (Merrell)

Sizes run large I recommend ordering 1/2 smaller. These are well worth the month and way less expensive than Merrell. Very comfortable shoe!

Comfortable and easy to slip on and off. You can slip into this shoe by stepping into it with just little wiggle to adjust. Fit is true to size and works pretty well even going down hills. Nice as a work shoe or a weekend shoe. Pretty good traction. Not really non-slip but feels stable even on wet surfaces. I would buy it again.

Nothing to dislike , perfect fit , I use Moab trainers size 9 so this fitted perfect ,love the nubuck leather upper and the vibram sole. Highly recommended super comfortable shoe. Great seller delivery in a precise timely fashion by tramp4.

I bought these on Amazon about 5 years ago. I'm just replacing them now (Nov 2025). They last. Excellent quality. I wear them every other day. Merrell is my go-to shoe and they usually have extra wide in my size. Beware of where you get them from (Amazon vs another seller on Amazon)....you might be over charged.
