Slim fit, well made, beautiful logo
Update to the Update: This wallet is back to being amazing! Once the leather is broken it, it is much easier to use as a wallet! It's much softer, flexible and works great! The stiffness it originally showed is a highlight to the quality of the product. Now that it's broken in, it's even slimmer in my pocket. I love this wallet! Update: I'm leaving the original review here, but I wanted to update my review. The wallet is beautiful and slim, but it's simply just a PITA to carry cash in. Because it is so slim it is hard to fit any more than a couple bills into it -- which seems like a necessary component for a wallet. With that said, if you only plan on carrying credit cards (more or less), then I'd recommend the even slimmer wallet by Belroy, the Slim Sleeve. The slim wallet is a great idea, but not being able to easily add or remove cash is a real downside to this wallet. So forget all pretense about carrying much cash and just directly to the slimmest size available. Im hoping with time and some usage that this wallet becomes a little more user friendly. Just got the wallet today and I'm in love with it. It's a beautiful wallet, feels sturdy and absolutely has cut the bulk out of my wallet by about 40%. Some people are complaining about the hidden part being too hard to open, but I think that is a nice feature so that I think before spending my larger bills. The hidden coin purse could hold an additional credit card if you'd like -- mine holds the card I need to swipe into my building. I don't think I'll ever be able to go to any other wallet!

Nice wallet
The wallet is really nice but probably not worth the price. I bought it specifically for travel in Europe because it has places to hold the coins when needed. Otherwise, it's just another well-made leather wallet. The 'hide' part is just a somewhat concealed second section in the bill area with an extra credit card slot where the flap folds over. I guess the idea is so that you can keep less cash 'visible' but you can tell it's not a cheap wallet so if in a situation where someone might rob you, they'll probably just end up taking the whole wallet anyhow. But, ultimately, it is a nice wallet so it meets the mark.

Beautiful wallet with a few flaws
This wallet replaced a 15+ year old JCP Stafford billfold wallet that I paid less than $25 for. Overall, I love the look and feel of this wallet, and even though I initially felt a little silly spending over $80 for it, I think think it's worth the money. The leather looks to be of good quality and the raised owl emblem is a nice touch (although I'm a little concerned it may wear a hole in my pocket). That being said, there are a few negatives: 1) I don't really think the wallet's especially slim. Compared with my old wallet, I don't really see a difference, and the old wallet even had a detachable license holder. The only reason the Bellroy is slimmer is because I've gotten rid of a bunch of junk; 2) The hide & seek section of the wallet is basically useless. I'll probably never use it and doubt there's very many people sizing up what's in my wallet when I'm opening it. I think it's more likely that they'll notice me going into my secret stash of $1,000 bills. Also, when I have more than 10 bills or so in my wallet, it takes some effort to push them all in so they aren't poking out. I think the additional bulk of the lining that separates the sections is causing that. I would rather have the lining sewn or adhered to the inside side of the wallet. I think that would also make the wallet a bit slimmer; 3) The two card pockets on the left side of the wallet are not evenly distributed from top to bottom like the three slots on the right side are. On the right side, the cards lay flat from top to bottom. On the left side, there's a thickening in the wallet at the top because the card in the bottom slot only goes bout 2/3's of the way down the wallet. I think it would be a better wallet if there were three slots on both sides; and, 4) I ran into the same fraying issue that others have mentioned. The fraying is on the top and bottom of the wallet at the fold. This was noticeable within the first few days of use. It does not seem to be getting any worse after the first week or so. The wallet definitely has a premium feel to it. I like handling it and I like the way it fits in my back pocket. It's sleek enough to fit in the front pocket as well. Overall, I recommend it, but wish it was less gimmicky.

Well worth the money
This wallet is exceptional. As a plumber, who plays the credit card points game, I truly test this thing to the max with at least two cards per slot and getting this wallet wet often. It has held up great the last 3 years. The card slots have loosened quite a bit, oddly enough the cards will slide out just a hair, but never fully falling out. I think for the money it’s a great purchase. Perfect for front or back pocket use. I’m planning on upgrading to the premium design this Christmas. I wouldn’t waste my money on designer brands when this type of wallet is available for $100.

GREAT LOOKING (at first) but seriously flawed wallet. Limited lifespan.
I loved it right out of the box. It looked great with a nice texture and sleek design. Now that 4 months have passed, I'm wishing I bought something else. PROBLEM #1 - The "Hidden Bill Section". This is the root of all the flaws. It's an extra piece of leather that is supposed to flap down over the liner so you can hide bills behind the liner. The problem is the flap never stays down, even when the "hidden" section is empty. With a few bills in the hidden section it especially doesn't want to stay down. It also is prone to creasing and once it's creased, good luck getting it uncreased. The flap (especially creased sections) creates bulge from the extra thickness which leads to the next problem. PROBLEM #2 - Durability. The bulge created by the flap for the hidden section creates wear points. I only weigh a buck fifty and just my weight on these bugled sections is causing the texture to wear off, revealing a cheap looking untextured leather that is lighter in color than the textured finish. Must be a faux texture that is stamped on. This means the wallet is only going to look worse over time and not patina and look better with age like some wallets. PROBLEM #2.1 - Durability continued. There are 3 card slots on the right where I keep 2 debit cards and 2 credit cards with one slot holding two cards. The are 2 card slots on the left where I keep a drivers license, auto insurance card, and health insurance card, again with one slot holding two cards. This combined with an average of 10-15 bills creates a sizable bulge around the entire edge of the wallet which creates extra wear points where the texture is slowly starting to rub off. Long story short, I don't think this thing will last much longer than a year before it's looking pretty beat. DO NOT BUY this wallet if you have lots of cards. I'm pushing it by trying to fit just 7 cards into the 5 slots. Too many cards will bulge like crazy and wear off the texture faster than it already does. I also wouldn't recommend this for anybody who is heavier set as I'm only 150 pounds and my weight alone is enough to cause significant wear.

Super qualité
Super qualité et très beau. J’ai du le retourner quand même car dans la description des dimensions ce sont celles du modèle LOW mais j’ai reçu le modèle HIGH qui se trouve être 1 cm plus haut.

I’m happy 😊
I’m very happy with my Bellroy Hide & Seek wallet. It’s slim and lightweight, yet it can carry over a dozen cards while still maintaining a sleek profile. The leather feels premium, and the hidden compartments are a clever touch. Perfect balance of style and practicality

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I absolutely love this wallet! The quality is premium, and it's slim profile easily allows you to put it in your back pocket with no added bulge. You don't even notice it if you sit down with it in your back pocket. I have about 5 cards in my wallet (the essentials), as well as some cash. I wouldn't recommend this wallet if you are going to try and cram in 10+ cards; it defeats the purpose of a "slim" wallet. The "Hide & Seek" feature is nice as well for hiding large bills (100's usually) and there is a secret spot to put a couple coins, transit tokens, etc. I also ordered the "Bellroy Leather Slim Sleeve Wallet Black - $99.99" to compare sizing, etc - but this one is better so I returned that one. And the metal Bellroy owl logo is a really nice added touch that none of the other models have. I also purchased the "Bellroy Leather Micro Sleeve Wallet Black - $79.95" for the possibility of using it as a front pocket or inner jacket pocket card holder, for 1-3 cards maximum. It held the cards nicely, but I wouldn't recommend that product for cash. Thankfully I've converted to a nearly cashless life, LOL, and only use plastic. Anyways, I ended up returning the Micro Sleeve Wallet too, as this Hide & Seek wallet was far better, in terms of function, for what I needed it for.

Too short for euros
Great wallet, but you should sell the ‘HI’ size in UAE also. Lot of us travel to EU, Aus, UK that have the taller notes…
