96GB MP3 Player with Bluetooth and WiFi, T08 4'' Android MP4 Player

tldr; if you’re looking for something that isn’t a phone, isn’t a kindle, and isn’t something you need to load music on, this is it! It only gets hot sometimes! 10/10 super happy as of this purchase. PROS: it’s got everything I wanted — connects to my Spotify (my iPhone 15 was getting too hot to play it), connects to both Kindle and Libby (my kindle died just before I got this), and doesn’t clog up with too many apps AFTER I cleaned the unneeded garbo out of it. There’s no camera, and trust me that’s a good thing, it helps keep it light weight and more cool. It’s got an Android system, so using it is simple and intuitive even to me who is an iOS person. The sound isn’t any different than my iPhone, using cheaper bluetooth headphones that connect easily (with a caveat). I appreciate the small (read: cheap) speaker on the device so I can play it like that when the moment calls. CONS: this is TINY like I’m a small woman, it’s barely bigger than my hand, and typing on it for me is so hard I can’t imagine someone else doing something as tiny. The honest opinion is that it feels like a toy, or something that was fashionable when I was in middle school ~2008: small to the point of it being “cute”, with cheaper feelings and connection ports. Don’t expect a lot from this, it’s less than $100 and does what it needs to. OVERHEATING IS AN ISSUE, but literally only if I overuse it, such as trying to play games, listen to music, and/or play videos (YouTube DOES work!) but that’s it.

Very disappointed. Purchased this cute little device to listen to audiobooks on Audible as I work for a “no cameras allowed” company which means having an Iphone in the building is a big no. Absolutely loved it until it stopped powering on. Tried several different chargers and outlets to see if it was just dead and that’s EXACTLY what it was, deceased. Return completed with no intention of repurchasing from this brand.

I’m very happy with this MP3 player. The screen is bright, the sound quality is great, and it’s easy to use. At first I had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, but it was just because the date and time were incorrect. After fixing that, it connected right away and everything worked perfectly, including YouTube. Great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it!

This is a terrific MP4 player. I love that it is so light and small. It is easy to use and the battery last a long time. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that I am not able to pair my wireless headphones with it. I have to use the headphones that came with the player which aren't the best. Even so, it is a great MP4 player and the price is right.

I got this to listen to files from CDs I ripped and to play Spotify. The unit comes set up and you're not required to log into a google account unless you want to download apps from the play store. The display looks good and it runs smoother than I thought it would. It plays music fine and the headphone jack sounds clean. Spotify does lag when loading anything, trying to play a song, and when skipping tracks. Some other weirdness. The unit has a USB C port but isn't USB C power delivery compliant. So it will only work with cables that don't have a USB C plug on both ends. Also my unit shuts itself off while charging and refuses to turn back on until I've let it sit unplugged and messed with the buttons to get it back on.

lasted 6 months. battery is dead, i guess. i am a proficient tech use and have test equipment and have not been able to get the device to draw power to recharge the internal battery yet. if i could do zero stars i would. i give it two mainly because when it worked my child was fairly pleased with it, as a device that mostly fades into the background. i will need to open this device up. i'm pretty certain that replacement of the internal battery, or maybe even just removal, will reset it enough to be functional again but who knows.

Good little device. Screen quality okay. Rather small keyboard. Lack of camera can cause some apps to crash. Since this is a small device the battery life is also very short.

Initially it had problems with wifi in house, no other electronics does. Checked with both signals no change. So I could not get Google play working. No Pandora. You could download music to it using cord to PC and even play it thru an external speaker. When I received it had 95% charge, but in 5 minutes it died, and would not turn on again.

This device is much more than an MP3 player. It's kind of crazy what an inexpensive Android device can do these days. It basically has all the functions of a regular Android phone or tablet (except for a camera or SIM card) just in a tiny form factor. The sound quality is pretty great considering how small the speakers are. Not audiophile quality by any stretch of the imagination, but better than some phone speakers. But you can easily pair it with Bluetooth earbuds, headphones, speakers, etc. Or connect an output device via the 3.5mm jack. Yep, this still has a headphone jack; take notes, phone manufacturers! The touchscreen is really great, easy to use, bright, decent colours, and great touch resolution. Which is necessary since it's such a small screen. But don't be fooled, you can run a web browser, watch YouTube, and download apps, etc. I know a lot of these are marketed at kids, and so they don't allow you to install apps. Thankfully this one has parental controls you can optionally enable to disallow app installation, but it doesn't arbitrarily lock down the system. The screen is small, but it's still readable if you wanted to read eBooks on this as well, or browse the web. And of course you have your Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora, Deezer, etc. Honestly that doesn't impress me so much since I'm not a big music streamer. But if you are, you should be able to get your favourite streaming service's app installed (and kept up to date) and it should serve you well for a long time. Battery life is good considering the size. I'd say it's great if all you're doing is listening to music or audiobooks. Things like web browsing and video watching/streaming definitely take their toll on the battery life, but that's par for the course. It's just neat it can actually do all of these things at all. Bottom line, I would've loved to have something like this in the days when I was trying to make due with cheap MP3 players. Really scratches that iPod touch itch, where it's not a phone or tablet necessarily, but it's certainly a mobile device. If you're big into music, this could be awesome if paired with the speakers or headphones of your choice. There's about 20GB free on the device memory itself, and it came with a 64GB micro SD card preinstalled (hey phone manufacturers, I hope you're still taking notes!). Lots and lots of room for audio, especially CD quality audio for instance. Also great for kids who want a mobile device but are really too young for a phone. If you know what you're doing you can configure it to be as "smart" or "dumb" as you'd like it to be.

I ordered this MP3/MP4 player so that I could listen to my podcasts it allows our tweens to have their playlist, but allows us to still have parental controls. So we are able to let them download their music and then block access to the Internet. This version of their MP3/MP4 player also does not include an App Store, so we were able to delete things we didn’t want like the browser, and there is no way for them to be put back. I have mixed feelings with this MP3/MP4 player. I think it's a good quality device but the performance is just okay given it is exclusively used to play music and not just an added feature on a phone or other gadget. The look and feel of the device is sturdy and durable. It looks sleek with clean lines and has some weight to it, comparable to a cell phone. The built in speaker feature is good but not crystal clear. It can be paired with a bluetooth speaker for a clearer sound. This player comes with a dedicated app only which limits your options. In addition this player provides access to some social networking and ebooks. What I like about this player is that you can listen to the radio through the radio app. It also has a feature so that you can record audio. The screen quality is quite low but not unexpected as this player doesn't have the ability to play videos. The battery life is okay but requires recharging more often than my phone or other devices. I appreciate the parental controls available and it was one of the main features that I was looking for as I ordered this player for my grandchildren to use when they visit. I haven't taken advantage of all the organizing features available, I'll leave that to the grandkids to set up their own play lists etc.
