Best mat ever
I did a lot of shopping before getting this mat. It’s clear for the most part, extremely durable. I’m sitting in my chair from 7-4 during the week! I’ve had it for over six months and no cracking or curling. Looks great in my space, which isn’t big! And it’s doing what I need it to do, allowing me to move around seamlessly and protecting my carpet!

No Damage to Carpet
I use this over a low carpet for my home office. I work from home 40hrs a week so this definitely gets used. If you don't move around much there will be some dents from the wheels which makes a slight hill feeling when rolling. no cracks in the mat or carpet damage, which was my main concern. It was very stiff and rolled up when taken out of the box so put something heavy over it for one day to smooth it out.

Very Good Desk Mat
I've been pretty happy with this desk mat so far. I've actually bought 2 at this point as I felt like I got a good deal for my money with the first one. The mat does a good job with a low pile carpet and allows some mobility with my desk chair. Since I work from home, I'm on this thing quite a bit and it has held up nicely. Occasionally if I sit in one spot for too long, it will develop some smaller divots, but those eventually flatten out after I move around some. At this point, I've been using the mat for over 4 months and it's held up nicely. The divots are the only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars. It's only a tiny annoyance to me, but I could see where it might cause some difficulty to someone with mobility issues.

Great Desk Mat for Low Carpet Office in my Home
This was the perfect size for my home office. It stated this was for a low pile carpet and it worked perfectly! It was not too big or too small, just the right size. I got it rolled up in a box and unrolled it and put some weighted items on top for one day per the instructions and it laid perfectly flat after 24 hours. I would buy it again!

Lasted 3 years before a large hole developed
Decent quality I guess. I am 225 lbs and have use it under my work chair so it's been used 5 days a week 8hrs a day for the last 3 years. It started developing cracks about a year ago and just today it developed a large hole that my chair now gets stuck in. Haven't decided to buy another one or try someone different.

Works as it should - with caution
I was looking for a replacement chair mat as my old one (15 years!) was looking ratty. I choose this one due to the rounded corners which better suits my needs. I read reviews on this particular mat (36x48) w/grips and reluctantly purchased it. Nearly a week in use and so far so good. Mat remains in place (8' round low pile rug) and the rounded edges look great w/the contour of the rug. The mat is pretty thick but the wheels from my chair do leave 'dents' in the mat. However, I observed the 'dents' go away after a while when not sitting in the chair. As this mat came rolled up in a box, it had to be flexible and I guess the indentations are expected due to that factor. Time will tell if this mat holds up over an extended time but for now it works and the price was reasonable.

Perfect for my needs
This mat is just the right size for protecting the carpet and accommodating my computer chair without being too large. My armoire has a drop-down tabletop on one side. Placed on the floor in reverse position, this mat is narrow enough to extend a couple of inches under the table without having to sit underneath its leg. It's hard for just one person to unroll the first time alone because it's fairly thick and stiff, and you have to be careful of the grips underneath. But you want it to be a tough mat. I managed to unroll it just enough to get two legs of the chair on top... and after that it was easy! I'm considering ordering a second, in case this mat isn't available later. We've had lots of these through the years, but this one is perfect.

Thin and flimsy, Leaves craters, slides around, and smells
Regret buying this and would return if I didn't miss my return window by 2 days... There are no pros for me. Just cons. I'll list them out in no particular order. - Annoying to setup. Have to let it flatten out in the sun for a while. It will still curl on the edges after us. - Smells bad. Cleaning with soap helps... just another setup step. - Extremely thin. This doesn't hold up on low-pile carpet. It leaves deep craters that your chair just keeps falling back into (even with oversized wheels). The craters distort the thing and cause the edges to furl/curl so if you move the chair off the plastic, it get's stuck on a edge curl. So you're always stuck either on or off the thing. - Low-pile and even medium-pile carpet is easier to glide my chair on and leaves less craters than this. - It still slides, somehow. The spikes are tiny and don't grip the carpet. The mat keeps sliding. I really wish I could return this. Almost feel scammed in a way and should have paid more attention to the 1-2 star reviews.

The chair mat is too soft - castors sink into it forming dents - no cracks yet
It came roiled up in a plain brown box It was really hard to flatten but... this gave me some hope that once flattened, it would be sturdy enough for chair casters to roll around on it but sadly NO! The mat is very soft and the castors sink into it making their own craters and making it very hard to reposition the chair one star because its not really usable

Excellent achat !

Solid product, holding up well
I've had it for a couple months and still going strong. I have it on a Berber carpet (not really thick) and I'm not a light guy. So far would definitely buy it again.

Looks and feels very durable
This chair mat is at least 2x thicker than the IKEA mat I had previously. Unlike many others, it has no seams, which is good as mats seem to split at the seam fairly often. It looks and feels tough and I am confident it will last a long time. Seller's communication was great; as the mat delivery was delayed (due to Canada Post of course, not the seller), I inquired about it and they replied on the same day and provided tracking info. Something that a buyer should note is that this mat comes in a roll, and considering it's very thick - you will need to roll it out in a warm room and put weight on it for a day or so. Mine still has the corners raised a little, they should set over time (small inconvenience, not worth docking any stars in a review). Also, the teeth at the bottom are quite pointy and hard - they won't cut you ;), but you'll feel it when you grab them. The size is just what I was looking for, and this mat is true heavy-duty mat from what I can tell. I have no complains about it, and I would buy it again.
