Does this have that dreadful chemical smell?

Having read this question and the numerous answers before actually purchasing this cushion , I wasnt expecting any smell ........however , sure enough its just been delivered , opened the box to find the cushion wrapped in a sealed sellophane bag and the chemical smell hit me straight away without even taking it out of the bag ! I have an allergy to some memory foam products so that why I checked the reviews before purchasing . The smell is very strong and now I dont know whether to risk removing it from the bag or not . Even though I'm desperate for some relief of my spinal pain , I think its likely that I will either have to return it or sell it on to someone who doesnt mind the smell .

Is this cushion higher at the back than the front, thus tilting you forward?

No it’s not, it’s higher round the sides to accommodate your legs. It’s sorted my sciatica out, especially now I’m working from home and sitting on the dining rooms chairs :) good luck

Do users find this gets really warm? I have a memory foam mattress which gets too hot for me.

I'm working from home and use it for about 6 hours a day. I've not noticed it becoming too warm.

It's 45cm wide x 36 deep approx. It would fit well in a wheelchair. I use it on a dining chair, armchair and car seat and it is very comfortable.
