how often should you change spark plug wires?

Monitor them but 8 to 10 yrs if they good quality

I seen that there might be a short wire. Does anyone know if thats the case for a 2002 disco II?

I have a 2003 disco II, These wires were exactly what I needed. I think the 02 and 03 are are the same. Double check just to be on the safe side tho.

Yes, they'll fit the 4.0 and 4.6. They are difficult to replace without removing the upper intake abut can be done, I'd suggest a permanent silver marker to number both ends so you know where you're at (even left back, odd right bank). For year everyone has suggested Magnecore 8mm, but the NGK's are great wires and i've never had trouble with them. (I have 3 Discovery II and use them in al my trucks)
