Good product
I recently tried the Caplide Cold Plunge Test Strips, and Iโm impressed! Theyโre super easy to use and give a clear, accurate reading every time. I love how quickly they react, so I donโt have to wait to know the water quality before taking a plunge. The strips feel durable and precise, making maintaining my cold plunge routine simple and stress-free. Definitely a must-have for anyone serious about tracking their cold plunge water conditions!

Not accurate for hydrogen peroxide testing
Seem to work ok for PH and alkalinity. When I dosed the pool with hydrogen peroxide, the test showed significantly less than expected, at 10PPM. Before I dosed again, I tested the strips with 5 drops of 3% peroxide in one 8 oz cup, 5 drops of 12% in a second cup, and a teaspoon of 12% in a third. All tests showed exactly the same results at around 10 ppm. My third test cup should have turned the pad black. Picture shows 2nd and 3rd test results. Don't trust these for your pool or spa testing.

Must have for any cold Plunge
This product is a game-changer for anyone with a cold plunge. Before using it, our water would go bad within a week, forcing us to drain and refill constantly. The online water calculator takes all the guesswork out and gives accurate results every time. For a small price, you get consistently clean, balanced waterโand way less hassle. Highly recommend.

Inconsistent results
I bought these mainly for the H202 test, but it doesn't work very well. The color changes significantly over the 60 seconds window in which the instructions say to monitor the results. The other items appear to be a more consistent test.

Works As Designed, Easy to Read
It is hard to write an amazing review about test strips. They either work or they donโt. If they work, and these definitely do, then they are easy to test and read. These work well and I like the fact that they have 4 tests. I was curious, so I tried them in my hot tub, and they seemed to work for that also since they matched my hot tub test strips. This makes sense because I am basically testing water, so being able to use them for both is an added benefit.

H202 testing is completely unreliable.
Tested at multiple dilutions it always shows 0-3ppm. If that's the main test youre after do not use this.

Easy to use, rather expensive.
These strips help you keep an eye on the quality of the water in your cold plunge tub or pool. The idea is to keep the water safe and clear. Because of the number of strips in the kit, and the number of parameters measured, these strips end up being expensive. Water can be affected negatively by the intrusion of rain water, skin lotions, urine, skin oils, etc. These test strips are easy to use; dip the strip in the water for two seconds and then keep the strip horizontally. The instructions state that the reading should be taken immediately after 30 seconds or 1 minute depending on the parameter, as indicated in the color chart. Compare the colors on the test strip pads with the colors on the chart. Observing the colors under natural day light is recommended. The test strips monitor the following parameters: - pH should be a little on the base side in the range of 7.2 to 7.8, to prevent eye irritation, and to ensure that sanitizers work effectively. - Alkalinity is referred as the ability of the water to compensate for changes in pH. It can be adjusted by using a solution of baking soda. - Hardness is understood as the concentration of calcium and magnesium in the water. It should be controlled to keep water clarity and avoid scaling. It can be adjusted with a water softener, reverse osmosis filtration, or by partially draining and filling with fresh water, if the water supply is not too hard. - Hydrogen Peroxide, as a way to sanitize the water in the cold plunge. I was surprised by the terrible condition of the manufacturer's plastic bag in which the test strips came. They have a shelf life of two years, and the one's i got had been manufactured two months earlier. I recommend looking at all the available alternatives.

Cannot reliably test H2O2.
The H2O2 test turns a color that is not on the bottle, rendering the test useless. Other test strips work fine and give appropriate readings within claimed range.
