Took a leap of faith and purchased this frame despite all of the negative reviews and it DID NOT disappoint!! I believe the weight of your bed along with proper security will keep the frame sturdy. It’s a little wobbly if you mess with it of course, but overall it’s pretty solid.

Not sure I believe these are stainless steel, but it is easy to assemble. More likely tin or aluminum with chrome playing. Be sure to wear the provided white gloves to assemble, the bars have machine oil on them upon arrival. I used the gloves to wipe each bar thoroughly so that I didn't get the dark oil on the bedspread or mattress. The whole thing is very large and tall - be sure to measure your room, especially if your ceiling isn't tall. The flat topped for this was touching our ceiling fan. Just things to think about ahead of time so you don't have any safety issues pop up. With canopy it does look good, we have gotten several comments. It is very lightweight though so make sure not to hang anything of weight on this or let overly young kids play with it.

Very nice. My daughter wanted it but wasn't sure if she would really sick with it as she changed her mind easily so I picked this as an affordable frame piece to see if it looks good. It does. A little bit easy to move on the foot part of the frame but we have floors so it's best to find a way to keep it in place.
