This is a game changer! We are in Texas so we get crazy weather changes. Vet will prescribe us medication for the winter, our pigs are prone to getting pneumonia with crazy weather changes like the weather drop from 60° during the day to 30° at night. When she slapped the pig with the needle they’ll walk a little bit but they don’t run making it easy for you to give the entire injection. But when you have that needle if you have to be quick because they move out of the way. This has made our lives so much easier

If you’ve ever tried to give a pig a shot the old-fashioned way, you know it turns into a full-contact sport real quick. They’re faster, stronger, and somehow always two steps ahead — laughing their curly little tails off while you’re knee-deep in mud with a bent needle. Enter the Slap Shot. This beauty turned “rodeo time” into “done in no time.” It’s quick, easy, and saves my back (and my pride). The pigs may not love it, but I sure do. Now, word to the wise: clean it right after you’re done. Leave anything in there overnight, and you might as well declare it a lost cause. Soak it in hot water and flush it good — that’s the secret. Bottom line? This thing’s a lifesaver. Works like a dream, and I finally get to walk out of the pen feeling like I won for once.

Works like a charm to vaccinate and worm our hogs. Has held up great through several vaccines and worming. Cleans easily. This has made injections so much easier on our farm.

This is an absolute game changer when it comes to vaccinating my piggies. I have a 300lb, pregnant kunekune that became sick, and needed antibiotics. It took the vet and 2 of his assistants to pin her and administer her first round of meds. Then!! They left me with the second round of antibiotics to inject in 7 days. After witnessing the rodeo that had just unfolded in front of me, I thought..."you've got to be kidding me!" Farm calls are expensive and I decided to find a way to do this myself without becoming a smear on the barn wall. That's when I stumbled across the slap-shot. I watched a couple of videos to learn the technique then ordered it off Amazon. Ok!! Let me tell you!! This should be SOP on day one of anything that pertains to vaccinations in livestock. Pre-load, throw some treats in a bowl, start a back rub, poke, and viola!!! No wrestling match, mauling, or broken needles. Even my boar that jerked and ran...I was able to inject him and it pulled right out when he bolted. This is the best $18 I have spent!!

This product is amazing! We are SO thankful for this. We have swine and vaccinated them ourselves. This gives us such ease of mind for use. They won't jump up and break the needle. I only gave it 4 stars as it is a bit annoying to clean the syringe tube if you've just used a thick medicine in it

Works great

This is a must-have in the barn! It made giving IM injections to our swine projects much safer and more convenient. The design helped keep the animal secure and made the process easier for both the handler and the pig. It was definitely a game changer for our projects, and I highly recommend it to anyone raising show pigs or livestock.
